might have to look for Wells Fargo banks when you get straps next. When I got straps of notes, I kept track of things like series, blocks, etc. because I thought it would be fun to look at them a couple of years down the road and see what was common then.

I think the 01060601 is definitely a keeper, and way better than the first two; because it leads with a 0, which is the separator of all the other numbers. Just my opinion.

Hey Rob! ❤️ I bought a 1924 piece dollar for $33.50 a 1921 mercury dime for $20 and a 1827 capped bust dime for 20 bucks as well I think I scored great and wanted to see what you had to say anyway, our coin dealer gave us Indianhead cents v nickels and buffalo nickels bags and we found two 19 12 Denver v nickels and lots of nickel Indianhead cents and possibly a 1913 raised ground San Francisco Buffalo nickel, we also found a mercury. Dime World War II nickel a flying eagle and a 2 cent piece BAD SHAPE but maybe 1865 but man our dealer let us hunt those bags for free!! Have fun Rob!❤❤❤

My father passed and left me some star notes (like alot of them) I asked a coin shop in Dallas if they were interested and they laughed and said star notes didn't have any extra value (this was about 5 years ago) Should I just put them back into circulation or do I need to try another dealer?

Hey Rob, I have kind of an important question. Do your banks ever give you the response "we can't order coins for you they're saved for merchants?" Because I get that response at so many banks in my area, even ones I have accounts at. But I never hear any other coin searcher running into that issue. I wonder if it's an area thing, or something else.

Coin collectors generally have business accounts at the bank that let them pick up and deposit coins or bills, for a fee

Rob channel is a business so he would have a business account and therefore he is a merchant ..try a credit union you’ll find better success 👍

I was gambling today, got a binary note, all 2’s and 3’s on a $20 bill. It wasn’t in good condition so I spent it in a slot machine. It wasn’t good luck either. But I also got a silver quarter cashing out a ticket. 1943. Not the DDO but still a good find. It’s too bad I lost way more than that overall… still a small victory.
