6010 and 6011 rods are are for mild steel welding. I used them in shipyards and in the Oilfield.

An old welder friend of mine stored his welding rods in an old apartment size refrigerator (not working) with a 40watt incandescent light bulb. The heat from the bulb would be enough to keep the coating on the rods dried out.

We had those cold temps last week. We had a bad ice storm. We lost lots and lots of branches off our trees. We were fortunate, nothing hit our house, but a section of chain link got squashed. We hope we can fix it to keep our four rescues in. Be safe. I hope you keep your power on. We were fortunate, kept our power where thousands here didn't. Take care.

Wow! That one dumpster sure had a lot of great stuff! I had old grocery cart in the basement of my first house, it sat where the clothes Shute emptied out. It was SO handy! That was in 1976! Stay warm! It’s -11° where I am! -20° tomorrow night!! Brrrrr
