I brought my Insta360 X4 with me on tour of Southeast Asia. There are two things that users should be aware of. 1) Insta360 X4 video files gobble storage at 1-1.5 Gigabytes per minutes. Don’t plan to record long videos. Shoot shorter clips and I recommend getting a 1 terabyte micro sd. 2) The Insta360 X4 takes great photos! A single shot can be edited to create a panoramic video clip. Single shots are very storage efficient (50-60mb) compared to video. This is a great way to quickly capture scenes when traveling! Editing photos in the Insta360 app is simple and a great introduction to skills for 360 video editing. 😊👍

Remark regarding single foto clip, It isnt possible with 72mb foto, i tried but app alow aditing clip only with small resolution of single foto

Both, because they are bothe completely different, I use my x3 for ver specific stuff and the gopro for everything else

I have been using a gopro for many years and this year I got my first 360 camera and yes the editing was a learning curve but only a few videos I was really blown away with the final outcome. Needless to say the X4 is now my go to action camera. The mobile app is great and the desktop app is even better. Anybody want to buy a GoPro 9 ? lol

I own x2 and now x4 as was mentioned only starting recording and postprocess in app with coffe is better, i dont care moment and recorded angle, it is great device, save time during action and spend time during editing via wifi no issue

I have several questions. It looks like insta X4 make deformed videos? On action cameras vidos are ok, only in wide view are deformed on sides but looking your video it looks like deform. When you ride a bike from behind it is strange moving of your bike on side then water scooter also look deform.. can you pls talk about that a lil? and also. can X4 call action cam if he have weak protection hood? one friend told me that lil scratch on protection dome will ruin video. can X4 go to water? Thanks for answers. Im thinking wich cam to buy.

You have to zoom out to make it look more higher quality, but lose the sides from stretching. If you zoom in on 360 you get to 1080p sides levels fast, then 720p.. it gets bad quick

@@perazdera5639 you indirectly about deform. Zoom will remove it but you lose quality fast and it doesn't look good. So you have to live with some deform to look good.

You should NEVER buy gopro. Because of freezing (yes, still), quality, and non-intuitive software. There are just better options on the market (from Dji or Insta).
