Michael left to play the role of Prince Michael on "Dynasty" because the money was too good to pass up. However, he has admitted that he regrets leaving "ROS". I've been fortunate enough to meet and to speak with Michael Praed, and he is a sweet, thoughtful man. He is very aware that we fans consider him THE Robin Hood of all times. I'm a film buff, but, to me, I prefer Michael even more than Errol Flynn! He's absolutely perfect, just as he is as Fogg in "The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne."

"Thank you........Boy!" Love it. Gisburne always seemed to get it wrong, poor devil. Robert Addie did a great job as the Sheriff's side kick, his and Nickolas Grace's Robert de Rainault, had a terrific on screen relationship, some of their lines were simply classic. I agree with all the previous comments. Michael Praed played the best Robin of Loxley ever. Robin of Sherwood was an awesome show and set a high bench mark for all versions of the Robin Hood legend that followed. =0)

Praed still looks goodlooking 40 years on! Good actor that should have stayed with the show rather than going into Dynasty which was trash tv. Praed will always be remembered for Robin of Sherwood

Michael was actually offered the role of D'Artangen in the Three Musketeers on Broadway. Unfortunately it folded shortly after opening and after is when he had the role of Prince Michael on Dynasty. He couldn't turn down an opportunity on Broadway and had said he was torn having to make the decision.

@@foxfieldco Praed is an under used talent. He has grear range and in his younger days made women swoon. Shame he went for a part in Dynasty which was such a poor show, with shallow scripts and even more unconvincing acting. I hope we may see him on TV drama today 🙏 🙂

Really enjoyed this. Ordinarily I wouldn't have been keen on putting that music to it, but it sort of fits! Clever use of editing too. This would be the sort of thing to show to modern audiences now to show how things should be done. 25+years and the thing looks still fresh, exciting and dynamic. This sort of thing had families glued to their seats on a saturday evening. Really miss those times.

Keep on doin´ stuff like this - it makes "You Tube" not beeing a waste of time! This could have been the original music-video from the series (season 1&2), if Real Life would have produced the OST. I just finished looking the three seasons - after many, many years. It´s a timeless production.

This is excellent, very promising first vid! Great editing, you choose perfect clips to go with the lyrics, and you time them to the beat - I especially like the clapping in the choruses. I love this video and song so much. Michael is the one and only Robin. Does anyone know what the man on the horse at the end of the clip said, as he fell after Robin shot him to save Marion? If Michael would let his hair grow again he could still do the role of Robin justice (only older.) He was and is sexy as hell. Love him. Thank you for creating and posting this video. We watched Robin of Sherwood and the Crystal Maze in the early 90's, when the Star TV network had just started in here alongwith WWF on the Prime Sports channel. Initially, think it was based on Hong Kong so there was a Chinese channel as well. These two were the two of the favourite shows at that time. All the series of Crystal Maze is available on KZbin, but cant find this series anywhere. I did watched the series 1 but it was pulled down. Newaz nostalgic memories

To view two movies that were not available on the internet before with Michael type in Writers Block 1991 and Son Of Darkness: To Die For II English versions are now available and so worth watching. As Max the Vampire, Michael is gorgeous!!!!

Michael is the only Robin. He is such a beautiful man. In my opinion this version of Robin was correct, Robin was born of magic, all through out the tv show, there were facts such as Herne the Hunter, and Lillith (spelling I think is wrong.) And in the end, when he was supposed to die---------he went home to the gods. There is always fact mixed with fiction. Russell Crows version was bad. I would love to get the DVD Son of Darkness - To Die For II. He was the most beautiful vampire ever
