He doesn't let that get him down he excepts it because getting down about will only make your life more negative. Excepting and just not getting down about it, will make you a happier person. "set you free"

Dang unfortunately As much as I love his voice, I can’t not see it for what it is, taking whatever the devil offer him because he could set him free! 😢Wow! , the video with all its symbolism, 6 of him, dancing apart from himself, the mirrors, the black & white duality, the hat over the one eye the pyramid, the portal door , Magic! The opening lines says it all, He’s not talking about himself when saying “He” got it ! If he had it, he wouldn’t need to take the offer. The he is satan. And For me when you know you know, I can’t act like it ain’t what it is 😢 i had to pause and really listen not just hear it /bumping to it & get caught up in the facts I like him, his voice/musical style. I just wish he hadn’t folded, really enjoyed his music up until this one. For me I feel this was his initiation which saddens me.

This is probably the only Robin Thicke song I like. I know Justin Timberlake was inspired stylistically by Robin Thicke, but now it seems like Robin's style is a direct rip of Justin's along with that stunt with Miley Cyrus, it's like all the class he had went out the window.
