I was a huge Procol Harum from 1967 and consequently became a Robin Trower fan from 1968 . Loved the 2nd line up with BJ Wilson, Gary Brooker & Keith Reid (wrote all their lyrics and Matthew Fisher, but the band played on touring for years .

@@JB-vf2wd Thank you. I`ve been to Seven different countries since `Live` 1975 to watch Robin play, that was a moment of history. For anyone to play, note perfect, improvising all the way through is pure genius, the best ever by a million miles, he is loved everywhere he goes. Every time I have seen him he plays a unique version of every track.. People talk of Hendrix and so many others of his era, but Robin Trower is in a league of his own..

@stevenkemp16472 ай бұрын
@@ironlady6897 That`s what I`ve seen, Jimi was brilliant at what he did but for my money Robin was in another league. I was just listening Long Misty Days, such a simple song but truly brilliant. Then put that beside Daydream, or I Can`t Wait Much Longer from the 75 Live album and OMG.. No dubbing of fancy studio tricks back then, No one, in my humble opinion will ever be so individual, soulful, and able to blow you away like he can.. A three piece band, creating a storm like that, never missing a note.. The one and only..

Thank you. I was introduced to Tower in the 80's. God what a magical time. Anyway, radio stations gave so much liberty to their DJ's back then . I was behind the curve, young, but this radio station played Tower religiously. At least this one DJ did. ( ROCK 103. Memphis!) I can't say it enough, such a magical time.

Bonsoir. Music, sweet music... Touching my soul 🎶 🎸
