Craig Walters not entirely true , his wife said that robin didn't do it because of depression, she said that he knew how to deal with depression all his life , so he was truly happy and he wasn't putting a face , he committed suicide because of his illness (which was slowly causing him to lose his memory and brain) all what he has is comedy, so he decided he didn't want people to see him at that state not to mention the illness was discovered 3 years before his death so it was a short time

The thing I find really funny is that throughout the week, Conan had been coming up with stunts that weren't funny so much as expensive, as everything went on the NBC credit card until the final show. The piece de resistance was having a fossil from the Smithsonian spray beluga caviar on a Picasso painting (when Conan finally admitted that these weren't for real). Then Robin shows up and says, "HERE'S how you REALLY cost NBC money!"
