Thank you all for more than 100 000 views. I actually made this tribute just for myself, putting together my favorite Robins' scenes and quotes. But I'm also glad that some of you find this video interesting. I'm grateful to Robin Williams because he left so many good moments and made the world a better place. I want to use this comment to send a message to all the people, who ever saw this tribute: please, make the world a better place. Be kind to people, bring joy to their lifes, help them, have fun and love, and most of all - be happy.

At least we got to ride the real comet. All others from this point on will only be able to watch replays. I'm so blessed to have shared even a small part of his ride. I wouldn't have wanted to miss the dance, as Garth would say. He was a beautiful human being that kept much of the pain he was really in, from the rest of the world. That's one thing we can all agree on, even to the end, Robin did things his way and we should respect him for that. I'm so glad that it is becoming easier to say, I'm not feeling like my normal self, or I'm feeling down because of the things happening in my life right now. If Robin did anything he helped make it okay for others to speak out about their own depression. RIP Mr Williams we will always love you.

Robin Williams has been embroiled in a few cheating scandals over the years, starting in 1986, when a cocktail waitress sued him for infecting her with the herpes virus...after he'd been married for 8 years. I was hanging with Robin (Wobin) in a dream a few nights ago. He was standing next to a fountain in what appeared to be a concourse of some kind, Like you'd see in a shopping mall. I remember his eyes were sparkling and he was radiant, bathed in a luminescence that was amplified and refracted in the splashing water in the fountain. We were goofing around and riffing off on one another. I actually made him laugh. The dream filled me with a sense of warmth and optimism that lingers to this day and probably will continue to every time I think of it.

Robin Williams was such a huge part in my childhood. I didn't want to believe what I heard and when it was confirmed I cried so much. I cried so so much. He showed me you're never too old to be silly. And I've been silly my whole life because of what he's showed to me and everyone else. There was so much he brought in my life. Many of us felt so much pain. I know I felt it. I remember almost every week I would be watching any one of his movies. And now I can't watch a single one without crying. I've seen so much Robin Williams movies growing up. And now when I watch them I cry so much knowing the fact he's passed away. And just thinking of it makes me cry. Writing this is making me cry. And when someone you felt like you know but not in person dies. It hurts a lot. It hurts because they are gone. It hurts because you know you're gonna miss them. R.I.P Robin Williams. Our brought laughter, tears, and joy. We miss you lots.

After learning of the Lewy Body disease and what it was doing to Robin's brain, I felt a sense of sorrow for what he was going through: paranoia, rigidity in his left hand, anxiety...he was distraught because he was losing his Robin Williamsness. That must have been devastating and scary.

@@pearlstengel7633 we will never really 'know' why he took his life, but I surmise he did not want to go out like Richard Pryor and Ali . . . he was close with both and he saw first hand what can occur when one's mind is one's enemy

Truly a one of a kind human being. Still to this day I still think of the great Robin Williams and all the lives he effected. His smile was so radiant and I think the best way to describe his smile is a quote from The Great Gatsby, "He smiled understandingly-much more than understandingly. It was one of those rare smiles with a quality of eternal reassurance in it, that you may come across four or five times in life. It faced--or seemed to face--the whole external world for an instant, and then concentrated on you with an irresistible prejudice in your favor. It understood you just as far as you wanted to be understood, believed in you as you would like to believe in yourself, and assured you that it had precisely the impression of you that, at your best, you hoped to convey." Rest in peace Robin

Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain. Doctor says, "Treatment is simple. Great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go and see him. That should pick you up." Man bursts into tears. Says, "But doctor...I am Pagliacci.”

my birth father and Robin Williams look identical to one another. while growing up as kid my father wasnt around. in the earlier days that effected me very deeply. Luckily Robin Williams was apart of so many movies, cause i would pretend he was my dad. that he couldnt be home cause he was off making the world laugh. hearing of Robins passing felt like losing a father. even though he isnt my dad he is a father figure that helped me through many days and nights. i miss him immensely. may he be at peace and his spirit live on, oh captain my captain
