Robin is beyond human sometimes. He has been always will be the best and most romantic rock and roll singer. I just wish the whole world would appreicaiate his that., along with his talent as one of the best tenors in the world .Wpuld love to see a duet between Robin Zander and (believe it or not, Tom Jones.) I would die happy after that!

This is my bedtime song if I have trouble getting to sleep. The first listen sends chills through me. Yet, I'm strangely relaxed by the end. Ready to sleep, or a second listen to put me away. To a woman that man's voice, & this song especially, is like a siren song which would steer a ship off course & ground her ship, taking her very life. As long as Robin just kept singing, it would be okay... Totally mesmerizing.

@TXFSamanthaMulder I'm not a fan of that Foreigner tune but Robin could make ANY song sound great. Cheap Trick was my 1st concert, the Dream Police tour 1979 or 1980. It got me excited about live music & I haven't slowed down since then. Hope your 1st CT show was awesome for you!
@WatchingMyLifeFlashB7 жыл бұрын
DetroitRockCity Sorry to break it to you, but that is not a Foreigner tune. It was written by the singer of the Moody Blues. In the future, it might help save you from embarrassment if you read the description before you post.
@WatchingMyLifeFlashB7 жыл бұрын
DetroitRockCity And yes, my first Cheap Trick concert was awesome. It was in the the early 80's at a water park in Dania Beach, Florida called Atlantis. The performance area was quite intimate in size & everyone in the audience was in bathing suits, of course. Many of the girls up front were so excited that they just ripping their bikinis off & throwing them onto onstage at Robin & Rick's feet. Security kept having to rush in. The hefty security forces would forcefully roll up the naked women up in huge rugs (?) in order to haul the kicking & struggling girls away. It really was a hoot! All in good fun! I had always hoped those girls just got thrown out & not arrested. They hadn't hurt anybody. Rick showed one bikini top had a phone number written it. Those were the days

@@WatchingMyLifeFlashB They're replying to another commenter who said they wanted to hear Robin sing "I Want To Know What Love Is," which is in fact a Foreigner tune.
