What a wonderful way to adapt a set to fit within your city! Clothespin alley went from a random idea to a beautifully developed feature, highlighting the newest modular perfectly. It would not have looked half as good without the setback and mirror build. I greatly appreciate the extra effort and creativity you bring to the hobby.

This build was designed for you and your city. I think Lego was listening and designed it with you in mind! It couldn't look more perfect in place in Brick Nottingham - truly amazing. Will look even better with tables and chairs everywhere outside, which will be very pub-like! It does need some RobinHoodBrick scenes, so something funny or silly, but I'll leave that to you.

looks absolutely stunning, love the angle! For Clothes peg alley, I had an idea/suggestion, to add "ropes" the white ones w connection points w/ lil clothespegs and pieces of clothing from one side to the other side of the alley, as a hint to "days of old" and currently acting as a touristy selfie spot :'). Then from the side view you have a really cozy look into the alley with all these clothes lines.

I just love how natural and intentional this looks. And the race track wrapping around it is chef's kiss, but i would like to suggest some more barriers, atleast fully eclose the track. Safety in motorsports has evolved so much over the years, that any race track is basically enclosed except for the pitlane, and some entrances for the track marshalls. Speaking of them, for more realism you should add some track marshalls around the area. These guys really are heroes, and im sure im not the only one who would love to see them around. Anyways, love how the city is turning out, and i also love watching these videos.

Yay new 2025 Lego modular !!! I got this on day 1 and it’s been great! One of the best ones. The box you can flatten - it’s easier! Fold inward from the bottom box then use the outside box to store it all. You can use it like a tray to move Lego. Much better to see what bags you have left as you are building - plus the paper bags are better, easier to open and recyclable ♻️. Tudor corner looks awesome in your city! 👍Once you have added the extra tables I think you end up with a great big pub. Oh no - competition for the pub by the castle!😁 JJ F

I just finished work on "completing" all the half-builds from the Medieval Town Square. The red/black Guarded Inn was tough but worth it. Love the way it looks in that space. I have to say that the set of buildings look amazing. starting at the bank and around when you see the art shop you know your back to the bank/laundry and it all fits like a glove or good hat if you like. I think that the way you layout Brick Nottingham is always so exciting. I was afraid the station and art studio would get lost but instead they make you want to see more and lean in to it all. I was thinking that maybe the clock should be turns and moves to the closer corner so you see it running from the "Where's my pants?" shop to the station or the Pub, and really every racer needs to check their time. Thanks again for sharing your exciting mirror build.

Well done with that mirror build, and actually, all the previous concerns about the station not being visible have been put to rest too. Love it. Fits perfectly especially with mirroring it. Good idea! I think the Apartment upstairs could be made into a cat cafe, just by adding the coffee maker from the pub, and a chair or two, plus a counter. If you want to get an outside entrance, you could switch the balcony door completly with the window next to it, and add another set of stairs onto the Plattform on the second floor. You could even add a sign, that would be visible from the alley. I also placed the second chimney a little more to the right, with the Intention of adding a fireplace on the third floor.

I absolutely adore the narrow facades near the station, and how the Tudor Corner modular has three detailed walls making it a perfect beginning of the alley. I may suggest expanding the dark grey pavement section to make it more irregular and following the shape of the station square and not so straight-angled. Also, I may suggest adding a laundromat sign atop of the entrance to the Clothepin alley, because the business seems so hidden from the customers and it is also an another opportunity for a 3d sign.

Looks great next to the train station with that open area. Maybe you could move the chimney to the top of "Where's my pants"? so they have one each? Also think that if you could move the clock to the near corner would look good. May need to move the jumper plates under that window, not sure a minifig would be able to stand there? The paper bags are able to be recycled. I'm a printer and we are using this kind of paper for chocolate bars here in Australia.

Maybe the cat could go on the rail of the the balcony with the door ajar? On second look that would be pretty lost so maybe the lower stair rail and turned a bit so its head or tail sticks over the edge to be seen from the other end of the alley. Some amazing details and techniques on this one. Maybe the chimney could be shifted to above the book case like it was converted to a built in book case? I agree on how there should be a clock in the apartment. Maybe swap a wall one with the poster? Or build one into the book shelf. Maybe some small black tiles on the roof top between the chimney sweep and the chimney for sooty footsteps? Maybe one of the cats could have their head or tail poking out at the Just Pants sign? Maybe with the chimney sweep trying to get it down with their brush.
@chrischristiansen620416 күн бұрын
Is there something that would make sense to break up the solid back wall of just pants? Maybe something hanging from the roof like one of those window cleaner hoists and have them painting it or doing a wall repair? The large flat section of wall just needs brick texture or something to break it up a bit.

Many moons ago, I had some work done on a house I lived in, and we did cap a chimney, leaving the stack intact at the top. It was just resting on big concrete blocks inside the roof structure. The dark tiles around these 2 modulars is kind of blocky/simple/flat and road colored....I kind of want to see the dark Grey rectangle that surrounds these 2 modulars (underpants building and the new tudor) in cobblestones! The cobbleston alley, and the cobble stone patio stairs near the train station, would pair great with some sort of cobbles or old style tiling around these 2 modulars. It could cut at an angle with the pub patio and would really unify this whole section making it a sort of "old historic" section.

Nice to take the challenge of mirroring it, considering this set clearly would have missing symmetrical parts. 😅 But anyway it was a great choice to match the building upper floor entrance with the alley. And the building itself is pretty nice, loved the technique to build the Tudor structure. But yes, I'm glad I'm not the only one bugged by a chimney that doesn't make sense. But there's another thing that also bugs me a little is the lack of a bathroom, or these sets that seems to be 2 buildings but it's actually 1, similar to the Brick Bank, the Detective's Office and the Jazz Club. But as I keep them closed after assembled, I just make believe they're what they look like, and are correct inside. 😉

Such a cool build - the angled beam technique...I was looking at how to write letters with plates and tiles yesterday, and maybe it could be adapted for that (despite the sign I'm making not having any Ks/Ys/Vs/Ws in it). Kinda surprised we didn't get a Badoing! when you put those bar seats in, though...
