I love how most of the newer modulars play with height and depth! The Tudor Corner not only does this very well on its own… but can force others modulars placed next to it to do the same… as you’ve demonstrated!
@thegreenbrick2 күн бұрын
@@SHYTIMEismyTIME You’re right! The depths between them constantly vary. The designers really thought of everything to make the modular street distinctive from one building to the next, but yet make it all cohesive.

At 8 mins. The book store on the left side of the TC looks really good. Similar color scheme makes it feels like they were built at the same time.

This is one of the best modular we've gotten, especially since the last few have been pretty decisive. I think it looks best with The Detective's office, pet shop, and Jazz Club. Could also say Museum but not a fan of that one personally.

The museum was a disappointment for sure, they could've done a lot more with it.

But they use green plate. It looks very different in other modular building. This is the worst

Tudor corner on the left of Assembley square is my favourite. The blue of both buildings works so well together

The modular review I want is like this. Thank you!!
@RCmies2 күн бұрын
This is honestly such a useful video for anyone looking to purchase this set so thank you! You should make these kind of videos for all modulars, even old ones if you haven't yet. And wow the police station on the left side looked great with the Boutique hotel on the right as well! But in general I'm very glad to see how this set looks even better next to other modulars than on its own.

@@RCmies Thanks for your compliments!! I greatly appreciate it! Hmm, that’s an interesting concept. Thanks for your feedback as always and your idea! I’m going to take inspiration from it! And yeah, I really thought so too with the arrangement of the Police Station and the Boutique Hotel!

Great video! I think one of my favorite configurations was the Bookshop's townhouse on the left. The townhouse is interesting to me because I always felt like it was in a slightly different scale than the others. The townhouse from the Pet Shop modular reminds me of an apartment complex, while the one from Bookshop is its own house. While most living spaces in the modular city are apartments that take up a floor at most, this is a whole building dedicated to this living space. I love that townhouse, but it has always been a tad tricky for me to place. It would look nice on its own, but the right side of it has a huge black square from the interior fireplace. Something about the way the staircase puts some space between the townhouse and the Tudor Corner looks really nice to me! Also, the staircase just barely covers up the black square!

Thanks! I really like the townhouse as well! I started building more in different colors to place side by side with the original, but just need to get the pieces to complete them.

How about the museum with the tudor corner on the right and the parisian restaurant on the left? That way you have the stairway on each side to seperate the museum

01:06 being that close to the museum with a stair up to the first floor also give the thief from the Jazz Cafe easy access to the museum via the stair and then the roof! 🤔🤷🤣

How does the Museum look if sandwiched between the staircases of Tudor & Parisian Restaurant? I like that separation we've seen so far. Also curious to see your own personal overall layout of display, as it's clear you care about such things.

Museum in the middle of those two makes it look like a masterpiece! It indeed is a great arrangement! I tried it out in my new video that I just posted. Thanks for the suggestion!

🤔 i wonder if the Corner Kiosk owner is the cousin to the news stand for the police set. Partners in Crime maybe?

I love this modular and I think it looks best with the bookshop modular with the bookshop to the left and the townhouse to the left of the bookshop. However, my opinion is largely influenced by the fact that these are the only 2 modulars I own and I only have enough display space for them to sit in a single row.

With the release of the Blacktron set, could it be time for a sci-fi modular corner, like with the Jazz club?
@thegreenbrick2 күн бұрын
Yes, the return of Blacktron!! Though I’m thinking this one could be converted to a Medieval theme. Imagine this being Castle Corner or Tudor Tavern. It looks like there may be new Lion Knights to pick up from the BAM at the LEGO store that would go with the theme. 😉

I think for the museum. The best place now is inbetween the police station. And tudor corner
@planetdee35878 сағат бұрын
At 4 mins. The side of the hotel that can be seen, if you buy the pieces that lay on top of a stud but also 90 angle falls off to the side and allows to to add with its forward facing studs, you could make a poster walk coming down the side with a design. Often buildings that stick out like that in large cities use that space to display things... or graffiti 😏

Perisan restaurant on the right with the police station is my plan once I get it. That was my plan due to the biboard of the police station and the olive green of the perisan restaurant.
