Would it be cheaper to piecemeal the forest woman? Also, the second female in the display should probably have a different hairpiece than Mrs. Hood. Also, you should create a Sherrif of Nottingham character to have him sneaking up from the side

Most of the value is in the torso, the head and legs are more common parts. I looked up the reissue and it's almost as expensive as the original. But going on the amount of bricklink orders we see each month I'm sure Robin will pick it up at some point. 😂

The face on the guy with the blue feather looks a bit gruff and out of place. He feels more like a crook than one of Robin's merry gang. Everyone else has clean and fancy facial hair and he just looks a bit dirty with that stubble in comparison.

Way better use of the space there. I really really like the display and we shall see it in every video!!! (Rather like what I did one afternoon a while ago, my monitor has a full Lego riser made just out of normal bricks) The only thing as a huge Lego castle/forest fan is the black and blue one has a castle feather. Now I know the black one is crazy £££ but did you know you can get a very similar one, black feather with a tiny gold band at the bottom? We did this with the 2nd black forestman we have. JJ F

The head is from the series fisherman, the hair is from the series Grandpa, the cloth is "Minifigure Armor Pauldron Cloth, Double - Item No: 74662", the torso is "Torso SW Loose Shirt, Black Belt and Silver Buckle Pattern (Naboo) - Item No: 973px89" with dark brown arms, and a dark brown "Lower Body, Skirt". Nice little diorama, Robin. Looks a bit like a stage @ Shakespeare in the park. 😉 Only thing my OCD is triggered by is the left tree‘s trunk overlaps the green base by one stud. I would shorten it and replace the dark brown slope by 2 1x1 bricks simply stacked. But that’s just my opinion! Looks really nice on the desk!

Looking great. Makes me want to make something similar for my female knights. I would bring the mushrooms more to the front and put the birds in the trees. Also would put the guy in the tree a bit more back and to the side so he isn't standing in the middle and more looking out from the side. Some smaller plants on the ground would also be nice.

wow, this looks great- i love how well it fits under the monitor and all the colourful merry men! i do think one of the other birds should maybe also be in the trees though, and i think the red squirrel deserves an acorn of its own :) i think the original smile face looks good on the classic forest men, but i believe there is a decent variety of interesting old faces you could put on them so they still look like classic forest men which could also look nice good luck with your future updates, amendments and mocs, cant wait to see what you do next!
