In the episode "A Guest For The Gallows" the Sheriff has been captured by the Outlaws. He is made to write a letter of pardon. The letter in old script is momentarily seen on screen. With the benefit of freeze frame not anticipated when transmitted, you can see that he has signed it "A Wheatley. Sheriff." The production team recognising the actor in an "In" joke. DL Staffordshire.
