Robin you are my hero for hand painted nail art! I've wanted these nails since the day I seen the.. So tonight I finally tried them. I wish there was a way for me to show you without creating a channel and tagging you for the inspiration. My right hand is better then the left and I'm right handed lol. Thank you again Robin for all the work you put into your videos. ❤

Good evening Robin. I really like this easy marble design. What I was interested in was how you do your acrylic. Have you done a video applying your acrylic prior to your designs? 😉
@Thirikalee8 жыл бұрын
She didn't because she wants to teach painting, not how to do the acrylic nails. I think she said once there were so many great channels for that, you wouldn't need her to do it, too.

Hello! Robin I ordered your brushes last year, I have tried doing the drag marbling, but failed tremendously. When I try swirling it looks like mud. I don't know if I am using the the brushes properly or what. I've asked you before, what brand of polishes work and never got a response. If you could list brands of polishes that works for drag marbling I would greatly appreciate it. Also is there a tutorial on how to use your brushes. I've used the liner brush and nothing seems to turn our right. I need help badly, because I really enjoy do this for my enjoyment. Thank you very kindly
@robinmosesnailart8 жыл бұрын
i use a liberal base. i use wet and wild polishes. i would start with one liberal base and one color. swirl on paper using this technique. even if you have to really put a thick coat of polish and one drop of another color and then lightly swirl. start with just one line and 'feel' the polish moving...........if it drags, its too thick..if it pierces right through without making any swirls, its too thin. i would practice with a black base and a white dot first.............both wet and wild...........they are thin polish with lots of color to them. try this..............then, KNOW in your heart..it isnt you, its a technique and it takes time and patience to get the technique down and once you get it, you can add colors. just to FILM this technique correctly took me 5 years........its not easy to do, but one you get it, it makes sense and is easy. there are no tutorials to use my brushes right now because i have absolutely no help. i do this myself and i need a camera man and others to help me. i have paid countless people and each one has let me down. i am not letting this stop me. i dont want to have badly done videos when it comes to this as it is VERY important to me. until i do, just know that i use my brushes in my tutorials and that pushing and pulling is essential...to get the feel of the push and pull...so it creates a line instead of trying to draw them.........this is essential. if you dont give up, i wont and together we are gonna get this right. i am gonna fight for you and you fight for me!!! *huge hug* the struggle is hard at first...but it is so worth it....so dont give up juanita, i am rooting for you!

i dont know if you have felt it...........but i have thought of you a lot........in your gift i have learned to let go of quite a few things i had been holding on to that were not very healthy for me. it was through your kindness and listening to what i love and knowing......really touched me. i dont ever know if people really listen in my videos sometimes, it really is about faith. it is hard to know really........and sometimes i feel if it is worth it because its just a beauty channel on youtube.........ANOTHER one...and i let that voice drag me down......but no more. i do feel i can teach this via wires.........i have taught many ways in my career with actual students or schools etc...but across wires is so abstract and my heart says........yes, it will catch on. it will go beyond the copycat/get put into a blog next to a rose bouquet type of venue and into one where others REALLY trying to teach in this medium will begin to coalesce into something substantial and real and it will go outside of the lines of a beauty channel, it will be how i feel about it.....its my heart.........and yeah,....its been less than 8 weeks since i found out most big channels pay for their viewers and likes to a HUGE extent based on sponsors and it is a planned and plotted business move and they choose their 'face' and then promote promote promote.................but, the faces havent worked in a chair for 20 years and my faith is restored in that time served...LOLOL!!!!!! its a crazy world...and i am so grateful to women like you who inspire me :D *huge hug* we should make a novel out of our comments. *laughing*
