No I’m not. I can almost entirely relate to your reply, to to lyrics and to the videoclip as a whole as well. I used to listen to this song whenever it was on the radio. It holds special memories to me since back in that time I did not know much English, but I did understand some of it and it always brought hope to little me. It was my way of saying one day I would not have to see ever again my father (he’s a bad person). It brought hope and strength for me. Years later I come back to reminisce those times and the determination this song gave me. The courage to stay strong, and to remember I’m not alone, that no matter what, it’ll be ok. Yeah this video has simmilar climate to "minority report" or "total recall" films. Basically the protagonist was deeply in love with this girl, but after some time he started cheating on her, they argued a lot, then she started drinking and partying heavily, possiy cheating on the guy. They broke up despite loving each other. The video shows the guy going to a doctor for memory removal, he wants to forget this girl. As the doctor (or the man who deletes the memory) brings up different memories concerning the girl (I think) he starts to question deleting them. He deletes some while saving some other ones, messing with the head of the protagonist. In the end, the guy overcome with emotions for the girl, decides not to delete his memories, he tries to run away but it is too late. The memories get removed remotely. The final scene of the video shows the same girl in the waiting room for memory removal...

I work in a store in the mall. Both the mall and the store play music; the mall plays different music from the store. Most of the music from the mall is popular stuff. A lot of Michelle Branch, Taylor Swift, Gwen Stefani, stuff like that; with only a few newer and more interesting hits sprinkled in. I actually like most of the music, but it's just too much of the same type. So I don't like when I'm working close to the mall door and I hear their music my whole shift. This is one of the few songs on their playlist that I actually looked forward to hearing. Especially the chorus. I couldn't understand a word from where I was, so it took me a while to find it, but I'm glad I did.
