I think I spent the majority of the time feeding my 'Robinson' with every drug I could back in the day... I didn't know how to save him, thats for sure 😇🕹️👌

Looks like an Amiga gem! It reminds me of an early Sega Saturn game like Virtual Hylide on tech many MANY years older. I had moved on to PC by the time this came out and I never heard of it, but once again you've highighted a gem Cheeky, and I haved to give it a go now.
@CheekyCommodoreGamerАй бұрын
I can definitely see similarities in the Sega Saturn 3D style in this game - a gem indeed and one that should be played at least once. It's frustrating as you can die quickly unless you administer the correct medicines, but other than that... it's a decent game indeed 😇🕹️👌

I booted a copy on my A1200. 3D shooters were coming out around that time so I didn't have the patience to play anything like this as my expectations were a bit unrealistic. It actually looks like a neat survival game.

It is, once you know how to heal your ailments it becomes a pretty decent game 😇🕹️👌

Never played this game before. Somehow, it reminds me of both of the CHRONO QUEST games from Psygnosis. I remember playing some of the Silmarils games on the Amiga 500, such as MANHATTAN DEALERS, COLORADO, TARGHAN and TRANSARTICA. ROBINSON'S REQUIEM seems challenging. If i ever find this game for my Amiga 500, i could give a try 😺👍🕹️.

Absolutely love this game. 30 years after release I am still playing it - and on Amiga through emulator even if I have GOG version :D I always wanted to become werewolf like one of the first survivors you are meeting. So I let him bite me, but nothing ever happened :D Superb game.
@CheekyCommodoreGamerАй бұрын
Superb isn't it once you learn all of the ways to heal your ailments... you can react quickly to being injured and keep alive longer, eating, cooking, drinking etc - such a great game. Survival type games were brought back with the likes of the awesome 'Subnautica' amongst others - so there is definitely a demand for the genre. Just look at minecraft! 😇🕹️👌

I remember climbing a high cliff only to have my left eye pecked out by an eagle. I had to continue playing the game with the left side of the screen covered by a blurry image of my nose. 👁👃⚫ Also, if you are fast enough, you could amputate all of your four limbs. 😂
@CheekyCommodoreGamerАй бұрын
The amount of times I'd break my legs just accidentally walking off a hill haha. Yeah I've tried to amputate but you have to be fast with the tourniquets 😇🕹️👌

Silmarils is a seriously underrated game publisher, maybe because they're from france? i don't know. All of their games are high quality and most of the time great to play too.

Never played it when it came out. I think the reviews were mixed and never saw a demo, so gave it a wide berth as it was hard to understand what the game was about or what to expect and I probably wouldnt have had the patience for it back then. Should probably give the GOG version a try.

Does the game take advantage of the A1200's higher clockspeed and/or AGA graphics modes?
