Stanford's Ky Robinson reminded everyone of his championship level kick at The Dempsey on Friday, February 9 by kicking home to win the Washington Husky Classic 3000m in a new meet and facility record 7:36.69. Northern Arizona's Aaron Las Heras challenged Robinson on the last lap but could not hold off his kick. La Heras finished 2nd in 7:37.26.
Also finishing under the meet and facility record were Portland's Matt Strangio, 7:39:02, and NAU's Theo Qaux, 7:39.85.
Their times were NCAA all-time #2, #4, #11 and #13 for 3000 on any size track.
