Beautiful, Robk. Thank you for reacting to this messianic work to which few have reacted and analyzed. I'll tell you, in a recital Fito Paez explains that the lyrics were made from the accelerated melody, tripled and stretched, which is very similar to what Astor Piazzola did in the progressive tangos that he listened to as a child. Then that beautiful harmony that begins with the "Algo de vos.../Some of you ..." and has that precious descent ("Cae la lluvia.../"rain falls"...) in which it minorizes, Fito says that he literally borrowed it from Mc Carthney (for example in the harmony Yesterday) and that later that ascent ("Y no sirvió de nada..."/"and it was useless ...") is inspired by a resource widely used in the melodies of Charly García. That is, he says that he composed this song following his most important influences. Guitars On the rock side they are by Ceratti, but they are sampled by Twitty Golzález, who at that time was Gustavo Ceratti's keyboardist and synthesizer and who did a large part of the arrangements and samples that triggered Fito's inspiration in almost all of this album. It seemed to be dedicated to his mother, who died when he was a baby, but in the 20-year recital of the Album "El Amor después del Amor/Love After Love" he tells that he composed it for Fabiana Cantilo, an Argentine singer-songwriter who was his partner years before Love After Love emerged. Thanks!

Y vos por qué estás acá si crees que es un verso? jajaja A mi me importa la música y yankee, canadiense, chino, argentino o de donde sea es lo mismo al final del día. 🤗☮

Great Robk. One thing, It seems to me that in that "glorious" ending your "xylophone" is a sampler but of a "harp" or Paraguayan harp that as a reference is used a lot in the songbook of Guarani origin (Paraguay, Northeast Argentina and Brazil) that is widely listened to throughout the area of Mesopotamia Argentina.
