City 17 brings people that are interested in the half life series and tries to show how it would be. It’s a good developed game but it’s too bad the Hicom and some Hr are just pure corrupted. (Me watching you mocking a ROLEPLAY server for having ROLEPLAY features also kinda piss me off.)

I agree with allat. I spent a few weeks in the game and saw how everything worked, which just made me think people were more braindead than I thought at the beginning. People spend years to get really high positions just to implode mentally when people start trolling. I feel like the dedication I see these ppl put into that game could've been used for a job application rather than feeling superior in a Roblox game. Btw with the beginning it seems you referenced it to gmod, however the whole game is based off of Half-Life 2. Gmod does have a lotta assets and voice lines from the Half-Life series, so it makes sense to fuse both together for describing this hodgepodge of a game.

Yeah I don't know why this dude is hating on it so much. It's not the best game on roblox or anything, but it clearly took a lot of effort. Only problem really is people taking the game way too seriously, most of the time people who appear to be taking it seriously are just roleplaying though. If you don't troll and just play normally on either team the game is actually fun. It can even still be fun trolling as a civilian, as long as you aren't doing anything actually bad or annoying. Just saying and doing stupid things.

It's a decent game until you realize the corruption, the benefactor possibly being a Na*zi, and them attempting to take down other games so they can be the only game.

@@nisamdesam But.. they didn't import Source maps? They used the assets yes, but the entire thing was built and textured by hand, other than the HL models themselves ofc. You can even see this if you go out of bounds, it looks like a Roblox build, not a HL2 map. The game also has areas entirely unique to it, only using the textures and models, and you can easily see it fits the style of the rest of the game. I don't even play this game anymore I moved past it ages ago, but I still respect the effort that went into it

@@random6498 I remember when I applied to dev for Benefactor's group and got rejected because they were looking for people with knowledge of importing source maps. I can tell you don't play the game anymore.

i dedicated all of my time and money to supporting the development in this game, just to be banned with no notice. i had gotten framed for something i didn't do. so if there is one thing to learn from, check the prices of these game passes because 2k for a lego rpg is ridiculous

Eh, not really this is not a Darkrp there are a lot of regulations and moderators you have to remain serious as a combine or jury will detain you and punish you there are different violations you can breach.

@@CivilProtection02 everything remotely fun in the game is centered around coordinated timed gatherings and special events, and the activities themselves are not even as fun as what you can get out of plenty of other already existing games. I did everything the server had to offer in the 30 hours i spent on the server, and the only fun to be had really was just harassing the guards. Walking around as a stingent cop is boring, playing as a rebel to act as cannonfodder for bored cops is boring, going to work in a factory doing manual labor is boring, and even when you try and do the bare minimum like exploration, talking to people, or literally just standing somewhere, a bored cop is going to try and satiate their bordom by power tripping. The game isnt bad because i think it's bad, it's just bad objectively. The only fun to be had is to break its rules lol

@@_Gromm_ It's true, this game is basically not a game filled with exciting impulses, but most of the RP's are like that, and it's a separate game genre, some people don't like it because it's boring, but some people think differently and like it. For example, I play hitman as a civilian, I look for a high-ranking combine on the server, buy a weapon, and then my task is to hunt him down, so you can squeeze excitement into the game with creativity.

dude i got cuffed by invisible OTA INVISIBLE OTA they have the ability to go invisible, and i left the game and I get unbanned till 12-11-24 it's actually crazy it's not even that bad to get banned for a month I was a rebel

It's not terrible, it's based not on Gmod but on a game called Half Life 2. One of the best RP games on Roblox, it has a great ranking system aswell.

It's actually fun for me(I'm an discharged SPEAR), like on Autonomous Judgement moment where we went war with one of the biggest Rebel Faction(ALA), killing UNIONs with my crossbow, executing Matzoii and Skulls(If you playing City 17 long enough you may knew them), seeing the drama beetwen OfC ColonelFigure and Skulls, and more! Also you getting killed near Nexus because you're not allowed to go there as it's was forbidden and you will charged with 3.4. And the place that was guarded by UNIONs in the start of the video is simply a place where it's forbidden to Cillivans go there

9:49 If you'll ever see a Combine with JURY in their tag, "staring" at the wall. It means that they need to do something urgently, for exaple review a report. For new players, City-17 might be strange and incomprehensible.
