Here is a good strategy for this game: Rush: Very simple. Although in room 70 and beyond, you need to interpret EVERY light flicker as a Rush incoming, even if its eyes. Too risky and he is far too aggresive beyond this point. Tip: In later rooms, timing is key since he is faster and your closet time is greatly reduced. Good way to time it is when you hear the screech it makes when you are in the same room as it, works like a charm. Screech: Hear a psst, insta look at it, but in a dark room, make sure to do a few 360s because his AI is kinda shit and he can appear without a cue. Upon going to the next room, do a 360 just in case, I saved a huge amount of HP with it, trust me. You can also hear a psst outside of other rooms which aren't dark, but they are false alarms (still doesn't hurt to do a 360 just in case) Seek: Relatively simple, follow the blue lights for the crawl spots and when you are at the crossroads rooms, make sure to quick look left and right before going into a room with the doors. My personal recommendation, get some vitamins every run in case you get a door or two wrong because it is a serious life saver, especially in the last chase sequence Ambush: It has a different sound than Rush and it is recognizable, upon Ambush #1 leaving the room, instantly leave the closet and wait for the next ambush. Wait 10 seconds and if you hear nothing, you are good and may proceed. Sometimes the game bugged for me and I waited too little and assumed it finished rushing, but false. (If you need this info, Ambush can appear up to 5 times, but I am hearing people have encountered it more than 5 times so make sure to proceed with caution) The Figure in Room 50: seems scary at first, but I recommend making a dedicated run for it just to run around and see how dumb it really is. Sometimes being too careful is not the solution. I recommend using the time when he goes up the stairs as a good reference point as to when you can continue moving. If you have a friend, you can tell them to be in the area with the barricade (the one right on the other side of the stairs), there, you are most of the time immune (or at least the first 10 minutes, but beyond that point, the pathfinding turns into a real nightmare) and after doing some research, out of all the routes he can take, that location is most of the times safe. There are also 2 more safe spots. One of them being to the left of the entrance, in front of the closet and in the right corner in the padlock area (be in the ACTUAL corner since he can patrol in the padlock area as well and its a serious clutch area. The mentioned areas are most of the times safe, but there are a fuck ton of routes the Figure can take and a small amount of them contain said areas which means your safety is not guaranteed. Eyes: Before entering any room, I recommend looking down JUST for a second. It's a habit you will need to develop. Game has a tendency of loading it in when you are ALREADY in the room hence why this is the only real strategy to it. A repetitive habit. Halt: If you don't see eyes poking out of the wall and Rush isn't coming after you, even though you see flickering lights, it is a warning that the next room is the hallway where you are up against Halt. So prepare yourself. Prolly the only thing where I faced an actual challenge. No real strategy here. Upon seeing the blue screen, walk backwards and wait for the next blue screen and then continue walking forward. When you walk backwards, you go way slower and Halt still can't get to you which is far better than fully turning around because you are losing far less progress. This one is more fight or flight and reflex oriented. No real strategy, just a skill issue The Figure in Room 100: Upon pulling the lever and when the monster drops, you can walk up the stairs and he can't do anything to you. HUGE advantage since now you won't need to encounter this bozo while tryna get the key. Make sure to proceed with caution by crouching down stairs to the electric room. Upon entering it, you have the circuit. I am sure a lot of you guys didn't understand what to do, so here is the explanation. You will be seeing boxes which are glowing and not glowing with a number next to them, this is basically turn on this number and turn off this one. You do 3 of these "sequences" without failing and the bar fills up + you get expert technician (if you do it flawlessly). Fill up the bar 3 times and then it will say the power is redirected to the elevator. I recommend you use any vitamin you have to sprint up there as soon as possible, if you have friends, wait for them. And BOOM. Good tips! I would just like to add on to a couple. Seek: If you ever feel like you don't know what to do, simply follow the blue lights. They are a huge help in finding your path to safety. Library Figure: You are *not* 100% safe in the spots LuKy mentioned. After a while Figure will start to pathfind you because you took too much time, and you'll have to be forced into a closet. You can tell this when the footsteps seem faster than normal. (proof: the barricade area. I was in there and he still walked to me.) Halt: If lights flicker and Rush/Ambush didn't appear or eyes weren't in the room, then the next room is probably Halt appearing, so be wary of flickered lights. This is overridden by unlit rooms sadly, so Halt may still catch you by surprise (I had that encounter myself, literally died from bad luck)

For Level 50 when you get the paper it'll have I, II, III, IV, and V. You'll look for books that's bright along the bookcases. There's like 8 of them. Find the ones that matches the shape for I, II, III, IV, and V and those are the numbers. Each code are different, just like the doors in every run.

During the first figure encounter on room 50 you can beat it easily if you crouch walk. as long as you aren't too close to it you can roam freely. There is also a globe you can spin on the table near the paper that I believe can distract it for a bit.

The tip to beat the seek level is to keep looking at the left, if theres a door, there will be a blue sparkle, just run into it, if it doesnt, run to the right, you dont need to look to both sides, I have never miss a door with this tric

I just completed the game for the first time (sadly not sure how long it took me, but it was the fastest i had gone through it, i had preiviously made it to floor 100 but died due to not knowing what to do :( ) and i've just kind of accepted that im never going to get the expert technician achivement. This was amazing to watch, i was shaking at the seek run and the last part of the game, and my heart was beating out of my chest. so good job! i'm amazed at some peoples talent with these kind of things!

Here is a quick tip; the blue light will show you which corner to crawl in an when you need to choose between doors look to both the sides very quick since the blue light will again show you where to go. In the last room just dodge the hands and fire and you're safe!

For room 50: 1. you can listen for a sparkling sound near the shelves to find the books. You don't really need to look for it since listening is much easier to do. 2. Based on all the runs I have done, you need to obtain all 8 books to find the 5 shapes needed. I've always had to do this so I assume it's a part of the game to make it more difficult. 3. Just a personal opinion but a few minutes in, try to lure him into a closet to play the heart mini-game with you. If you take too long, hell start to go straight for you which can be very stressful and doing the mini-game resets this times AFAIK. 4. GET THE INSTRUCTION PAPER ASAP. The more books you get, the faster he becomes. Getting the paper early on means you won't have to backtrack to it while the figure is sprinting through the room. This is all I can say since I've only beaten them once so hope this helps.

TIP: For the last stage of doors level 100, with the last lights, you can remember the lights that were lit in order to put the switch left. By counting the numbers that correspond with the open light, you can turn on the necessary lights, since the lights are already off at default, rather than trying to whim only some of the numbers you remembver

At the 100th door, after the figure jumps down, you can run to the elevator, it won't kill you for a few seconds until it goes to the 99th door to search those who hide in the closets..

For the first chase scene with black slenderman coming after you: You can tell when it will happen by the few rooms before it having eyes in the walls. they are more and more common the closer you get. once in the room he spawns, nothing else like screech or rush will. When almost at the end of the hallway, a short cutscene will play of him emerging from the ground and he will start running after you. you will automatically gain bonus speed regardless of multi-player or speed pills. Bookshelves and couches and random furniture will start falling from the walls. see with side has a big 'Crouch' text next to it, and go to that side and crouch through. you will get to a door. a few things may happen: the room I just described happens again you will reach a small room that intersects into two paths with a wall in the middle. quickly check each side and see if it has a door. if it does, go through it. if there's no door, it's straight ahead at the end of the room, just go around the wall. then it will repeat a few times. finally you will reach the last room. black arms will poke out of the walls, while furniture lightly blocks the sides of the room. fire will be in the middle. one side will be covered in furniture but the other side of the fire will be clear and you can carefully (as carefully as you can while running for life, at least) go through. walking into the fire will do 50% of max health. hands/arms will instantly kill you. this fire/arms thing will repeat a few times and once you go through the door at the end of the hallway you're safe. the door shuts behind you and the Glitch is stuck. if you take too long to make it to the end of the chase and he catches you it's instant death no matter what. notes: there is no better time to use a speed pill you cannot go back after the chase starts. you either die to glitch or the door stays shut. if playing multi-player, call out the path you take if you're ahead of someone. even milliseconds can matter and there's no point making your team take the chance of going the wrong side of the hallway. this chase is garuanteed to happen in each playthrough. I realized when you were doing electric part you kept on flipping off the switches. I made that error when I first beat the game. For each time it keeps telling you the same numbers if you had to switch it off it would auto switch it off. Just a bit of a tip because I realized yesterday when I was playing.

For level 50 always get 4/5 of the needed shapes so you dont use time to find the last one and can just guess

The game says that it's senses are more powerful than you think or something like that. Apparently it can hear extremely well, it can sense vibrations, and it can sense your heartbeat. But I won't blame you, it just casually chases you for no reason sometimes.

the best way to find books in level 50 is listening for a high pitched bright noise (also good for finding keys to unlock doors). the books are also brighter colored so that definitely helps

When you get a key room, you don't have to look in every drawer. When you get close to a key in doors, a very distinct audio plays(you can check the audio in the first room), if you don't hear anything when you're close to a drawer, there isn't a key in there :)

Another tip is that you don't have to open all the drawers and find the key When the key is in the drawer near you, you will hear a sparkly sound Meaning you just have to go near the drawers and check, opening it wastes time

If you don't know any of these characters: New Features will be coming for Doors, Make sure to check it out! Rush - Rush is the first one to appear in one of your games. You instantly die if you get caught. Ambush - Ambush is supposingly like Rush. Except Ambush has a scream so you know it is here. And it goes 1-6 times in 3 rows. Seek - Seek prepares a long eyes for you. If you see any eyes on the walls, it means that your almost to the seek chase scene [1]. Yes, there is 2 of the seek chase scenes. Figure - Figure shows up at Door 50 and 100. It is blind but be careful as it will sense your heartbeat. Eyes - Do your best to not stare at Eyes. It catches your attention if you do, it also take up to 45/25/50% of damage. Timothy - A little spider. It is mostly known for jump scaring. As it will still take 5% damage. Jack - Hallways, Closets. Jack will not let you in a closet if you find him. And Jack will have a Red Room, it is rare! Mostly known as "Blood Night". Window - Window appears in the lobby. But, it is still not in the game yet. Halt - Halt will put you in a longer hallway. Halt is blue so it puts you in a Bluey Room. Just walk backwards then stop if you want to look at it. Screech - It's PSST will alarm you. If you hear the PSST. Look at Screech once you found it. Glitch - Glitch teleports you back if you are far away from your teammates. It will take 25% damage away from you if so. It will also take you to a room that won't load. VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV Please note down this is the current guide for doors. Other features will be posted soon and tell me if I missed anything.

Some tips for new players lol You dont need to crouch the whole time on level 50 just stay crouched near the figure (the monster) When in a dark room where you need a key you can wait in the doorway and after a certain amount of time the door and where the key is will light up blue! On the last level you dont need to run back and hide in a wardrobe just walk or run past the figure (the monster) When you get ambush (the video doesnt show ambush) he will come back multiple times so as soon as he goes away the first time get out and then go back in when you hear his scream again (so you dont get kicked out) When you have screech always make sure to look up AND down and he can get you in wardrobes so before going in one always check for him! Thats all i know so far enjoy playing!
