for some reason no, he doesn't even bother to acknowledge your burnt marks, nor does Sam explain his burnt marks. The only ways Kevin would either try to save you or not is if you egg his house or not since Billy snitches on you if you helped him egg kevin's house. And as seen in the video, Billy ran away and Sam chose not to speak about how he got his burnt marks. So in the end, its just like a telltale thing (a small thing that doesn't affect the ending but does with a character or gameplay, smth like that)
