i had this problem for a while then I deleted the version of roblox I downloaded from microsoft and downloaded the website version, then it started working. I switched to the microsoft version because downloading the website version didnt work for some reason. I searched why on youtube it seemed to work.

It's not. Windows defender will flag it as a Trojan but it isn't. The way it works to unlock your fps is why it gets flagged as a Trojan

Hey guys, some people are having issues so I wanted to address a few things. 1. Make sure you install the fps unlocker to the same hard drive that your operating system is to reduce the chance of any issues. 2. You have to launch the fps unlocker before you open roblox. If you launch roblox first it will not take effect and you will have to restart roblox. 3. If you're still having issues install/extract the unlocker to your desktop. Don't forget to drop a like on the video for me!

It's always going to be detected as a virus because of the way it works. It's not a virus. And until roblox allows us to natively play at higher fps or allow devs to add this to the full game this will always trigger the Trojan virus warning because of how it functions. It's not actually a virus

Your pc might only be able to output 120 fps. Or you have another software limiting your frames somewhere

its not a virus, its made by someone who works for roblox, it was confirmed its safe to use, it says theres a virus but thats what it uses to uncap your fps it wont harm you ive been using it/

@@n3bul Yeah idk though because when I downloaded it it started saying I was using an adblocker and then later it showed that I was paying for an adblocker subscription even though ive never paid or got an adblocker.

Have you tried different games? I've had some people tell me they had issues until they tried another game in roblox and realized it was something related to that specific game

i literally went to an obby game and got over 600 ping when it normally nevery lags that bad and also without the fps unlocker it would drop frames to 50 even with the locker it still dropped to 50@@CaffreyPlays
