In my opinion the Mimi is such a good and interesting way to explain most of the Japanese urban legends. Like in chapter one it talks about the girl with a mouth at the back of her head, like how she thought her sister was hiding savings for herself even though she was actually saving the money for both of them, and the girl that got angry ate her sister but finally realized why she kept the money as a secret. She then was devastated and was cursed i think.
