I think being able to ask Roblox to change your username into someone else's if they've been inactive for many years is fair enough, If there is a system in place where the original owner of the username, is able to claim back that username at anytime assuming they for whatever reason come back. I'd imagine they probably wouldn't do something like this for regular users unless they have some kind of unique "brand" or tie to that name I guess, I mean they did this for all sorts of sponsorship accounts.

sharkblox, i hope you see this since something similar to an account reset happened on the account ‘x_x’, as I met them in a game js a few months before, as when i checked their profile, they joined around 2021 or 2023 (cant remember the exact year) and had a load of limiteds. went on rolimons later to search the username and found another really old and terminated account and found it having a really high RAP and some of the same limiteds, i was suspicious at the time that the owner did an account transfer of some sort, hope you could clarify what had happened.

@@Juicygreens I think you should put your brain into play here, roblox does specific checks before just straight up giving a username out, and of course they would want to get their name imagine if you had a name on youtube for example lets say it was "Play" then you wanted that user on roblox just to see the account hasnt been on for over 7 years, you'd want that user so you can prevent impersonation especially if the account is quite literally inactive to the point it has nothing, like literally a botted account that was made years and years ago or if its terminated which once again are the checks that roblox puts into play when giving out a username, and if your getting this hurt over a username you should take a break from your computer genuinely

​​​​@@thikmilkk I had loss my account because I forgot to change my email to the new one and if I see someone used my username I would cry so much because I didn't follow anyones normal route of choosing usernames let's say my user is ChuMiba (not real user name) And I loss my account because of 2 step verification glitch or email change and then once I some how got the account back but someone has requested to have my user name, I would cry so much because I am the one who thought of that user name first but someone who has more following or a star creator decided to take it is already unfair for people who loss an account because of trying to make their account secured or them forgetting to change the old email to the new one or got ban when they didn't do anything and them search their user name to only see someone else having it.. 😡

@@thikmilkk Well as I've stated, if its an account with literally nothing like I mean completely nothing not a single purchase, and 7+ years of inactivity meaning you first of all the account will be vulnerable to brute forcing and PWG, (password guessing) which most are and then are sold which a lot of ogs are terminated for, as long as the break isnt something crazy and the account is clearly shown to have some signs of activity + just general signs of you using it like gamepasses badges accessories even etc etc, then they wouldnt but in this case many of the accounts that did get name changed were not only inactive for years, but literally had nothing on it as if it was a brand new account and were MOST DEFINITELY BMED on a black market site, and no it doesnt delete ur account.
