What you seem to be forgetting on the account of Julius Cole is that if a company has CGL insurance, they can sue for slander, and what he said can be considered defamatory on many accounts. A company like Roblox MUST have CGL insurance considering the size of it, and if they do, they have the right to sue for slandering the reputation or esteem of a company or the staff member of a company - past or present (especially in the case of a co-founder). When a judge finds out that this staff member passed away from cancer, they're gonna eat it up. The same actions can be taken for libel. The only difference between the two is slander is spoken and libel is written down (i.e. blog, newspaper, etc.). You can complain about these things, but they have the right to do such things. On the account of what happened to you, you allowed the passage of physical property of another company onto your website and allowed it to stay there. While you may not have had control over what went up on this website, this is why content moderation exists on websites like Roblox where users are given the freedom to create anything they so please. They need to cover their own asses by making sure that intellectual and physical property is not stolen from outside companies. The most recent that I can remember is the DMCA of Roblox for the allowance of Pokemon Brick Bronze to stay on the site. This goes under a similar category of if they have reason to believe that you are using their product and are able to profit from using their product, they are able to make a case to sue you. If they are able to make a case that you are drawing potential profit away from them, they have grounds to sue for that profit and some. They were lucky that they were just ordered for it to be taken down. A lot worse would have happened if they hadn't.
