Everyone talking about how sad was the story, but no one's talking about how irresponsible was from the parents to give the boy an alive being as a gift. A pet isn't a toy, it IS a responsability, and parents shouldn't just give animals like that to their children, or they should at least take care of the animal, instead of only using them as something kids can have fun with.
