I personally love playing Sweden. This civilization can thrive on any non-water map. The Carolean Line ability is extremely powerful, and the stealth infantry and Tar Barrel are useful for sabotaging massed enemy bunches.

Tibet Pros Tibet has a really good strategy in Hanoi. All you need to do is hide an Assassin, speed it up with the smoke signal and launch it from the side. Tibetan monks can heal units with its ability. It can be quite good when it is with a crowd of pikes or ranged units. Especially monks. Cons Can be easily evaded by pikes and blocked by super tanky units like the shop from somalia. Honourable mentions time Kongo Pros Kongo is a very good unit called the monk horsemen. Monks alone are strong, how about a better one? That’s a monk horsemen. It’s better to use in the strategy where you spam monks behind houses in the town hill map. The monk horsemen glitch out the trap less making it more practical for a defense. Paired with a healing unit, it can do very well on the battlefield. Kongo also has 2 infantry tools (probably not intended and the owner forgot to patch it) Cons Can be evaded if the players know what they are doing and place pikes behind the building to guard it so no players try the strategy. Wallachia Pros Can be useful in small maps because if the ability “vlad’s terror” it makes the enemy units to go back and retreat back. People can call you a troll but overall, it’s quite a smart strategy that is barely used. Cons Ranged units. Venice Pros Venice can be super overpowered when you hide the unit “Stradioti” behind a wall or something. Just spawn a horde and order them to attack. It’s a very underrated character that I think should get more attention. I find it really good to attack axemen spammers, brigand spammers, etc. it’s quite rare to see it in a public server. Cons The townhill monk strategy can take down the stradioti if not used correctly. Serbia Pros Serbia is extremely good on long maps like castles and plains. Serbian gusars are pike cavalry that are very effective against hordes of ranged units when they are focusing on a different unit. The alemanic guards are also quite good to defend the king when a horde of ranged units let infantry pass close to the king Cons Pike spam

I like Antarctica. If u get enough penguins and use waddle, the penguins go sonic speed and shed everything. Granted it doesent work every time, for example, a asassin would kill like 10 penguins 🐧 but if their army is like, lots of axe men, the penguins will shred

A little more recent, but I really enjoy Switzerland and Zulu. Switzerland can farm early game then spam mid game, thats all that you need to know. Zulu can also spam, but any time in the game, since zulu warriors stick together, they feel like an actual army.

I love playing the Papal States. The carrocio allows you to upgrade regular infantry into a new unit called the condorettio that attacks faster. When an infantry turns into a condorettio, it can also regen its health, so it’s recommended to be used when infantry is damaged. If you’re a pro player, you can also take control of every infantry men using the carrocio. The Papal States also has the Swiss guard, which is literally a death sentence to almost every unit in the game, and is literally pike on crack. The sanctuary tool also helps you by teleporting to a area if you’re about to be killed.

War monks are definitely my favorite infantry unit in the game. I think Aztec for me is great for a war monk rush since they only cost 16 gold. Oirats I think is the best when it comes to making your war monk rush a formidable force. Thailand is only good when your team has elephants.

My top 5 favorite civilizations in the game are: -Austria -Dragoons are really overpowered when they are in big numbers, plus the imperial pike is good too when big hordes of infantry. -Zulu -They have the Zulu pikes, which are op if used properly. -Mongolia -Horse Archers are just great because it's cheaper than the cavalry archer and very powerful when it comes to big numbers. -Byzantium -there are cheriosphions, fire ships, and carthrapath, the cheriosphions are good because I can make a fire wall to prevent them from getting in to the lines and protect the king, the carthrapath is good too because they have more health but less speed, and the fire ship is good too for water. -Venice -the stadioti is op in big numbers and easier to spam, cheaper, the galleass is good too in water because of the light cannons in both sides.

My favoriate civilization is generic. I know it is boring to have no new units whatsoever but you can use a ton of strategies with them. Its really fun and it makes me even better for other civilizations. If you are someone struggling, choose generic.

@@kjashmirferra a nice one is the crossbow + wall strat. Crossbows can be instantly stopped by walls. So if you bunch a ton of them behind a wall. When the wall retires. A horde of crossbows will then come. Doing so much damage. It can take some time to set up the army though. So you are vulnerable while building up the army. The same goes with other ranged units like hand cannoneers. Basically, any ranged unit that cannot push walls. Look at the make your own army wiki for some more tips.

You can also use cannon ships to snipe any enemy artillery if you are on just a water map and spam elephants to push the middle.

My favourite is Bulgaria, this is because they have the best horse archers in the game. It suits my play style because of the survivability and accuracy of the mounted archers.

I use Nepal which does cost robux but it pays off a bit. The battle yaks can kill up to 7 people before they die unless people are in a cluster that are not fighting. Another thing I like is the Talwar can block all attacks except for Calvary which is convient. The last is because the pillar they have is a shield that can have infinite health for war monks. Also, I’m Nepali! I also like Portugal ( new world) because they have the tower which does expire but is super defensive and the ships are almost OP. I know China is a favorite b I will try it soon. I’m also Portuguese so I’m a bit biased

Dragoons are decent but are unreliable due to them not being accurate and often just getting killed before they can retreat. Imperial pikes are very powerful due to them being able to kill most units in melee due to their long range.

I like the dutch because you get musket line plus walls my strat as the dutch is to bassicly layeyer walls around the king then spam muskets and maybe usethe musket line and I like Byzantium because the flamethrower dude if you spam it your good to win

I have three favourite civilization is China, Ethiopia, Portugal. First of all I want to talk about Portugal, the reason I love this civilization is that they have three units I enjoy useing, Knight, I use them to push back the enemy, Arquebus, is that of it's high range, I consider Arquebus to be a support unit cause of it's long range, and then Caravel, I use this unit to cover more ground before the enemy and hold the ground before my teammates get there army set up, I spawn large amounts of them to be according to plan, Now China, I want to talk about the 4 units I want to talk about in this civilization, Chu ko nu, I use this unit for defense or offense, even though there arrows are weak, they can shoot a lot of arrows, and can shoot even more if you add more of these bad guys, Bombard Tower 2, this unit I use for defense or covering ground like the Caravel unit, and finally the Great Wall Of China unit, I only use this unit for defending, but that's not it, it says that It's longer then a normal wall, and more cheaper, And finally Ethiopia, I want to talk about the 3 units I love using, Shotel, this unit is my go to here, Shotel is fast, has a high damage, but has low hit points, but, it's very cheap, so I could just dominate high health units such as an Ironclad catapult, next is Tower, I use this unit as defense cause of it's damage per second, it's so strong that I am pretty sure that non of the enemy troops passed by! (Except for the stealth units) Put 4 of those bad boys near the king and you're all set! Just be sure to add another Tower because It will despawn in like 120 seconds, finally Knight, you already know what I think he does so I won't talk about him agian lol. And that's officaly it for my three civilizations I enjoy using on the battlefield.

Putting 4 towers near the king is a waste unless you are failing massivley in which why are you using towers that can be easily destroyed by infantry. But if it’s not under attack you will have to replace the towers every 120 seconds costing 160 total which means you would be bankrupt for the entire game and not accomplish much.

@@Cutepanda1943 Yeah, I agree, it is kinda stupid to put Towers near the king. They would do something if troops were to support it, then by itself, because there aim was really bad when fast moving units moved (I don't know if they fixed it, I don't really go on discord for updates, nor do I rarely play the game anymore) if they were to get attacked or not (Much worse) . This was like 2 years ago, so my mindset in the past, and me in the future is pretty different now. For me right now, I would put the towers somewhere, so that it could support the main battle (usually the battle occurs in the middle). There damage output plus the troops supporting the towers would be pretty good. But I obviously wouldn't put them near the battlefield that would risk them being destroyed, if some of the enemy troops were to sneak through. I also wouldn't place them, if there were enemy troops capable of targeting the towers first.

My top 5 is the -Dutch Because the musketeer is good against pikes and infantry -Philippines Cannon ships shoots 2 cannon balls instead of the OG 1 -Ternate The Karakowa is a cannon ship that loads faster -Australia The dingo is OP and the boomerang debaliate units -Mississippians I can make tons of tomahawk easily And the War Canoe fires like 5 arrows And that's all my top 5's

My favorite civ for ranged is probaly England because they have the long bows that can literally annihilate enemies from a billion miles and they are good support behind infantry. For best spammable, its russia because the axeman cost 5 gold but they are weak.

Kevin Rus is terrible but Tsardom of Russia is decent. Axemen are cheap and spamable but get massacred when they meet pikes and struggle against infantry. Outpost is trash and dosn’t do much. And having drumza, an infantry that only defends the king is not that useful.

I tried out Kievan Rus and discovered they are decent, Axemen are trash against melee units but they can effectively counter ranged units especially hand cannoners due to them being able to be spawned fast and them being cheap. Drumza isn’t that good but outpost can help your team a bit if you spawn one. And their generic units are decent Becuase they have knights and cavalry archers.

Sweden + Portugal + England Sweden cause of the tar barrel you can use for trolling Portugal was my old favorite for sword lake, due to the fact that the warships have very much increased health and there's also a Caravel England due to trebuchet and longbow + stakes, gud defensive Edit: also Sweden can line up Caroleans, which means instant teleport, so it's like fighting an enemy with and instant-recall device

I have never seen anyone ask for the USA to be added. It would be an interesting civ idea though. Similar to Vietnam with riflemen that can snipe while hidden. Also maybe something similar to dragoons, musket men, light cannons and light infantry with musket that can maneuver quickly.
