For the whirlwind slash that one move you kept getting stuck up on it has 0 s and it’s super slow so just hit them before the attack lands and it will cancel it allowing you to do a full combo

Otherwise counter or backdash, I've tested it and if the opponent uses it basically point blank on the ground and raw you just need to backdash then punish

grail u HAVE to learn to recover from far distances, you jump, uppercut, dash, jump, (any move that propels you forward or keeps you in the air{dont use counters unless u have to}), dash, jump, any move again, dash, uppercut and dash. make sure u never rush anything, and take a bit of space (like 0.3 seconds) between each step, youll find urself unkillable (almost). i know im a bit late but hope this helps

For fighting ninja without a counter, you can block their 2nd move, but for their first move try dashing out the way because after they use it there is a short period of down time

The game definitely has its fair share of issues (a lot of 3rd partying and some lingering hitbox shenanigans), but it's definitely fun to play. *But that doesn't mean I won't get mad at it still*

Can you try playing slayer battlegrounds its underrated game the player count only average 500 the game got m1 finisher which is so cool also the moveset of all characters there don't have aoe except for rengoku 3rd skill, the aoe of the 3rd is so small tho (it's just like the same aoe of metal bat grandslam) in tsb lots of aoe attacks is in there which can ruin the game experience because too much aoe its annoying, we all hate random table flip and serious punch right? ults in the game are all one shot with an amazing animation the game got mini ult which is helpful in duels since you cant use ult in there the game performance is so smooth the thing that i don't like about this game is the front dash hitting at the block doesn't have a little stun and downslamming is also impossible if your foe knows how to use counter This game deserve some recognition

you can use any character that has a counter and when a ninja is using that move you can use counter

a way to counter ninjas block break move, is to either use a counter move, or m1 before he can land it

Hey grail, here is a combo for each class: Boxer: m1 3x + third move + m1 3x + second move (delay the attack for a bit after it lands) + m1 3x and then first move Archer: m1 3x + whirlpool (circle around them) + m1 3x + rapid fire (delay it aswell) + m1 3x + first move and then finally use the fourth move Knight: m1 3x + shield bash + m1 3x + first move (dont use the lunge move because you can use it to push the opponent further away from the map if it hits or good for recovery) Sumo: m1 3x + bear hug + m1 3x + either barrage or headbutt ( i suggest headbutt because you can easily set up the perfect place to land your belly flop) Viking: m1 3x + first move + m1 3x + third move or second move Ninja: m1 3x + thired move + m1 3x + second move (dont use the first move because you can get hit mid combo using it)

on ninja i use a combo that is like this : m1 3x + 3 move + m1 3x 4 atack and 2 basically at the same time if u do it correctly u can land the two attacks

for the boxer you could do that same combo but before the first move you can fling them onto a wall and use a stun move on them or just m1 them and do a small combo again and then first move (it works its called fling catching and it works on any character)

to counter ninja its prediction his attacking moves have like a dash like sonic so they have that animation during that period you can hit them and stop their move from attacking and for bomb just get away not that hard and fireworks dont get too close and be cautious and bait it out then he has no extra m1s goodluck guys hope this helps u (like for more people to see this and help new players and others)

A tip for everyone ninja moves are easy to stop just be close to them and use m1 even if they are using whirl thing before landing you can hit the player to stop. The only skill that can stun u guys are firecrackers just avoid that and you can win
