You dont understand. The short dress was already worn before she even went to the shop, so that really short skirt was her normal fit. The prom dress was inside the bag she was holding after she bought her prom dress. The actual prom dress is the dress shown in the end.

Here’s the story she gets asked out bye Oskar then she will go buy a dress the first one was to short the second one was to plain the 3rd one was too thin and the 4th one was to tight and so she picked the right dress a even shorter one then the first one then she goes back to the palace and goes and takes a shower with her dress on now that the dress is all wet she has too put on a different one so she puts on this long gray dress and goes to the enter the ball room when suddenly she sees Oskar kissing another girl and goes back out of the ball room with Oskar running after her when she lost Oskar in a hurry she sat down and is saying “I’m SiTtInG hErE cRyInG iN mY pRoM dReSs!!” And lives happily ever after in her prom dress 👗 Legend says she’s still singing “I’m SiTtInG hErE cRyInG iN mY pRoM dReSs!!” Till this very day
