ROBLOX's new upload fee... | ROBLOX Designing

I got into designing about a month ago and now they add this fee. This isn't fair. Small designers can't afford to pay robux every single time they upload clothes. There are SO many small designers that can't afford to pay this. Its sad seeing so many people quit designing because of this. Designing is a hobby to many people and if they take it away what are they going to do now? But now they can't. Especially the people that are having a hard time growing their groups.

ok im sorry this is my third comment on this vid lol, but this also limits the advantages that premium users get!! like, now you only get a lil more robux and ur able to trade (i dont even use the trading system), and i feel like the whole reason of getting premium is to upload clothes-

You know what now that I think about it Roblox was probably trying to stop the botting issues where people could copy clothing and re sale them but they didn't think about to clothing artists themselves and how it would affect the whole situation overall.

This is so not for all the smaller designers out there. I only started making clothing last year and barely made anything out of it but i was happy. So now they're telling us that we have to pay to upload designs!? this is ridiculous-

as a small designer, this affects so many aspects of the robux income i’ll be getting, as well as what my clients will even be able to pay me. it’s ridiculous that i’d have to pay 50 robux and not be guaranteed to even be able to earn that back if my group members/sales don’t grow. i really wish roblox would consider how this is only widening the gap between small designers who can’t always be able to pay for these to go up, and big designers who can continue to profit. personally, i’m super unmotivated to continue uploading for my own group with no guarantee my items will sell, and will probably go back to selling my designs to larger groups for more profit. sad to see roblox not considering who this impacts most :(

I think that premium users should be allowed to upload clothing for free but non premium users should have to pay a small fee for uploading clothing

That is so not fair. I usually upload the same clothes many times because I realize mistakes I made afterwards. I usually re-upload an outfit two to maybe even 10 times because I can’t see the mistakes on the program I’m using sometimes. If I have to pay for every one of those times, that would be such a waste. Goodbye design career.

i’m dead...i work hours on making clothing and i barley get any sales i still make it cause i enjoy it. now i won’t be able to enjoy designing and i’m not rich. cant roblox think about the small designers...we aren’t rich we barley get any sales but we enjoy making clothing.

Hey... I’m a clothing designer who has gotten no sales... something I would do and am doing is commissions! They pay me through group funds and I send them the template and they have to upload them themselves... not the idle situation but still clothing

this is literally so stupid- no matter if it's a small or big group, they still won't be making as much profit and might not even make any profit from an item. This is also makes premium absolutely useless which is just lovely, no designers are for this, the only people that are, are people who aren't even designers. Us designers are literally contributing to the community, can we not do that for free? We might not be promoting their game like youtubers are but we are CONTRIBUTING OUR TIME AND EFFORT- what the hell roblox?

I am very mad about this because I was starting to get more sales and getting better at designing quality clothes and now they add 50 Robux to do each design. I don't know about you guys but I cannot afford 50 Robux per upload. I was starting to get an average of about 40 Robux per month maybe? Plus roblox added something where you have to wait a long time to get the Robux from sales. I don't know but seems like roblox is trying to kill small designers.

OMG I actually think this will reduce the amount of copiers, I love this. Just use 50bux of the money you make with your clothes to upload new clothes. Also Non premium members can now create shirts, less poverty, less begging. This is an absolute win

My group isn't even that big only like 79 members I rarely get any funds I cant afford to pay 50 robux for a single short or pants. it isn't fair us small creators dont get much sales how to they expect us to afford that for 50 robux PLUS we still get only 70% of the funds, people are quitting because of this (I might quit soon to tbh I cant afford this fee for a shirt) and now people are raising the prices just so they can afford to pay the fee people wont get much sales as they did when prices were 5-7 robux. OMG! This MAKES ME SO MAD! I thought that this was just an idea and Roblox would be done with it soon, but for a clothing designer who works for MAIA and VIBLEY, They're going to take 50 robux off how much they pay me, which leaves me with only about 60 robux from a FULL shading, lines and detailed set! I have my own group with only a hundred or so member, and I'm currently making hundreds of robux off of it! If this update comes out. I think I'm going to have to quit as a designer, not to mention, my YT channel will have no content! I REALLY hope this update does not come out! If it does.. I don't know what the heck I'm going to do..
