Does depression have a role in what she did? Absolutely. Does it excuse what she did? Absolutely not. She should have recognized her mental decline and gotten help, but it's evident that she doesn't want help. She's beyond saving at this point; she's a lost cause. It's possible that she faked depression to guilt trip her audience, and that she's just evil by choice, with nothing that will change her mind. Telling people to end themselves and going on to be a groomer tells me that the person is just evil by their own decision, and not by mental health issues.
