Gamefam randomly partnering with this company to integrate a game with Roblox for a bootleg Roblox figure set feels profoundly suspicious. Putting my tin foil hat on, I would guess this probably was so they could break out of just making Roblox games and stretch their corporate tentacles into other mediums, like toys. The most humorous thing about this, if that is correct, is that they don't have anything they could partner with Roblox to make toys of. None of their games are something any kid would want as a toy; either way, the games use Roblox avatars or brand characters. If they wanted to make money off Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Roblox figures, then not only would their cut of the money probably be awful because of how Roblox treats its developers, so I presume they treat their companies slightly better, but also, Gamefam would have to deal with having a third party take a large cut of the money along with having a say on stuff either way. And with their Sonic and Spongebob game, what is there to make toys of? It's just simple 3D models of the characters. The only thing they could do was try to make toys out of skins, but FNaF AR showed how that is only one of the significant business strategies, so that would only pay off a little. Now, if they had the rights to a game like Dandy's World, first of all, they would probably fire one of the devs for clear reasons, if you know the "drama" around that game. That would affect their bottom line, and companies don't care about people after all, so defending someone who's only done model work for the game pretty much wouldn't be something I would see them doing. But anyways, back to the topic at hand, if they had the rights to that game or something else like it, then they would be able to branch out to other mediums because of there being a pre-established audience for it along with how I don't think Roblox owns the rights to the originally created IPs for the game initially. Just look at Vibrant Venture becoming its own game because that offered more freedom. Unless things have changed since then, you can do whatever you want if it's your own creation, just made using the Roblox engine. This is all to say, as of writing this, if I'm right about any of this and if I'm not then it's still kinda funny they would just partner with this random company out of nowhere, like that shows some desperation or something on their part. But either way it looks like Gamefam will remain stuck in a rapidly decaying platform that will soon be hit with a lawsuit or two in the coming years if Roblox continues its predatory practices. KZbin forcing everyone to make more kid-friendly content to appease their advertisers got back to them in the end, and this is a far worse situation as a whole in my opinion, so hopefully things will change for the better on Roblox soon. Gamefam will remain stuck in the prison of their own creation when the inevitable fall of these scammy games happens.

I talk abt how the case ended in the vid. It seems like they settled outside of court and Gamefam and roblox worked together recently on The Hunt event so seems like they’re still on good terms
