Coming from a developer, this is a very deep rooted issue, mainly rooting from the old chat system Roblox had. Hopefully the new chat system will fix the issue. But the issue it self comes from the way that the old legacy chat worked and the things it allowed programmers to do. Until they do fix it, be careful joint games like this. Check the visit count and if it’s low like 83 don’t join it. It’s very simple. Be careful!!!

In this day and age, kids are insufferable, and the moderation team is gross. As someone who currently studies computer science and currently labels himself as a "Hacker" (Hey, probably the only real one on Roblox.) - the Crosswoods Incident and similar games like it don't involve any hacking techniques or any real computer skill. In simple terms, you join the game and a script runs that forces your 'Character' to send chat messages that you cannot see. Followed by a system that automatically reports your profile and triggers Roblox's Automated Moderation. Calling these people 'hackers' is simply an insult to people like myself. They are also not exploiters as you do not even need to own a Roblox exploit. All you need is Roblox Studio and basic scripting knowledge.

bro thats a really easy fix in theory roblox core stuff tend to be modular, so there are "speakers" that can be used to add something in the chat; all players have one. this means that they can be easily manipulated. they could literally just seperate the messages from the player and messages from scripts (like texts saying the people who join or play, or making somebody say something) by making a special method that can only be called by corescripts. then, roblox mods can see the chat and what came from players and what came from scripts.
