actualy about the dg ponds thing, the codes for the ponds appear in the basement after you get a certain badge (what poets used to know)

I asked around ten people in game and they all told me “idk I just used the wiki”. I was so confident that it wasn’t anywhere in the game, but I’m really glad that I was wrong. Thank you for correcting me!

@@flatfacefumo i just wanna mention that august (the dev) watched your video and sped up the pool process by ALOT The Pool codes no longer require what poets used to know (i think) The Pools are all right next to eachother The colours are numbered for colourblind people The Pool cooldown has been greatly reduced

I think the magic of Dream Game lies in how unwelcoming it is to the player, when I first played it myself there was literally no way to get any info on anything, which was of course, frustrating. However slowly clawing away at the desolate worlds, finding answers both in gameplay (as in gaining badges and such) and story was honestly so rewarding, cause you can tell the main dev, August, is very capable in writing and rewarding the player. Truth be told, a good chunk of the game is completely undiscovered, and people are still searching for it, not even me or the other developers/contributors know anything of them.. Once the game is finished and people find the ending, you should revisit the game, whenever that may be

creator of something, somewhere here! thank you so much for talking about our little project, it means alot to know that people consider it "up there" with games like SMS and Dream game. I appreciate the honesty and constructive criticism as well, things like that will really help my next project be an improvement on the last. And I'm not too sure if you found some important things yet, but keep an eye on planted world next time you play ; ) Thank you!

It's so great to see another video on these fangames - I thought after Visare became hidden for a while, Yume Nikki games on Roblox kind of came to a stop. Its so nice to see you return with another one of these, because after checking out all three games to completion in the previous part, I can't wait to see what these three games in this video have to offer. Time for another journey.

The Dream Core is definitely one of my favorite Yume Nikki-type games on Roblox and seeing it get even a singular mention here made me so happy. The ending and visuals really stuck with me, and I sometimes go back to the game just to explore that monochrome village area route. Anyways, thank you for making a part 2 to your Roblox Yume Nikki Fangames video! It's something I found myself rewatching rather frequently while I plan out and conceptualize my own game, and I've hoped that another video like it would show up eventually. This was a really fun watch and has definitely inspired me. Much thanks for all the links in the description as well, I often try to seek out these games, but since Roblox's search feature is completely and utterly useless and only makes me die inside as I scroll through the hundreds of soulless over-saturated thumbnails, I find I have little to no luck. This comment is rather long and I'm sorry about that lol, but yeah, good video :)

Forge and the Crucible does the dream codes SO much better than DG, requiring you to simply input a code into a number pad to get the dream you want. Even better, you can find these codes in game without the use of a wiki at all, which makes me really hopeful about how open the game will be towards the player concerning progression as it continues to get updated

I've gotta say, this has to be one of my favorite "series" on KZbin, even though my Yume Nikki interest died out a while ago. Also I completely agree on Dream Game, while I'm probably gonna continue playing it the whole needing a wiki thing was really offputting (And caused a goofy existential crisis of not being able to experience everything in a lifetime, fun) Was actually thinking about recommending Rulost and then got legitimately amazed that it showed up here.

Amazing video! Just some thoughts of mine on DG and the flaws you mentioned with it. One of my favorite aspects of the games is creativity in solving problems, there are several times where you are faced with a challenge that has no strict answer, and you are given an entire worlds worth of resources to find a solution. A good example of something you talked about is getting crystals for depth dreams. You can speed up the process a ton by collecting mirror shards and netting the vending machine to have a portable supply. Solutions like that is why the game is so fun to me, among many other reasons. Keep uploading! This is a great video and you certainly gained a subscriber.

Great video. Hope we get to see more. Also noticed that a bunch of these games (Sun Moon and Star, Utopia of Unconscious, and Something, Somewhere) have references to the game "Gears." by Termiteking9, so you might be interested in that too, although I don't think it's really a Yume Nikki fangame. You might also enjoy the game "Dreamscape" by The Frame. Either way definitely gonna be a subscription from me.

i made the escapism area game (28:55) and i hope it stands apart enough from other fangames like something somewhere and sun moon and star (i don’t really like them as much honestly) i am working on more fangames as well p.s. my friends also appear in this video: malwareswifto made edge of the atmosphere (29:08) and the roblox yume nikki fangame iceberg, alonetta made inner mind (28:59) and wolfspider/jasper/7w7 made tin pot dreams (29:12)

redoing my comment cause yuh i like sun moon and star to these i bid adieu because it feels a roblox time machine. you enter worlds that feel like you enter random forgotten worlds people have not updated in so long. like the mogeko castle world in the jabberwocky route or glass looking insects. another thing i like is that it doesnt take itself seriously sometimes.. you can find weird worlds just like you said in the video
