Only One Real Problem With The 2024 Toyota Tacoma

I think going forward the 3rd gen will be the model to look to buy for the reliability on the used market. Turbo vehicles just seem to bring an image of a vehicle that has been raced and expensive to fix.

All Tacoma owners have their “sweet spot” as far as which generation works best for them. As an older adult the 3rd gen is my choice but I see reasons to prefer each generation over the others, just depends what is important to you.

I bought mine in April and has over 5,000 miles one oil change. Working great, no issues with trans nor shuttles.

Make sure you get back to us when you do have issues or problems. I see many other channels voicing the opposite because of problems. Anything ‘new’ operates well until it doesn’t.

The biggest problem with the Tacoma is the price, I’ve seen 53k and no leather that’s insane. I do think the price is starting to effect sales, dealers near me had 1000k off msrp now they’re at 2500k off.

Just bought a 2024 TRD off road, with Offroad upgrade package, 52K. That has the leather heated seats and JBL upgrade. Again, not the base model and got it with 7 miles on it.

The only complaint I have with the new 4 gen tacoma is discontinue the m/t in extended cab tacoma in any trim level because I’m old school

My rear ppf was put on just fair putting a piece thats about 8 inches higher. I got a few small rock chips just above where the ppf stops. Other than that I am really enjoying my 24 offroad manual. 12k km no issues. Paint could be a hair thicker mines white

My only complaint with my new 24 is my grill paint was horrendous, in 2 months of having it the black paint faded completely

I prefer manual. They adjust much faster. Lumbar support is all I need. And funnily, that part is electric in mine. Just got my 24 TRD Sport three days ago and LOVE IT
