Wow when you said that it’s important to try things you don’t quite feel ready for that really resonated with me. I’m about to be graduating with a BBA in SCM next semester and I find myself struggling to feel ready to apply for certain positions for after graduation. I’m mostly just nervous to make a fool of myself during the interview process, but I know I have to put myself out there.

Hey Rob, loving your content! I’m currently in my final year of bachelors study in business administration and I want to build my career in supply chain. What resources are useful to get my basics right in the field and also which masters programme is suitable so that I can kick start my supply chain journey?

There are so many resources out there and so many courses it would be impossible to recommend anything specific, sorry. Though one of the best value is probably ours 🙂 www.supplychainsecrets.com/

Thank you sir it's a great inspirational words.sir ,I completed my PGP in logistics operations and supply chain and iam looking for a job and I want your advice about whether I should choose a job in warehouse or a office job relating to what I studied as a fresher and if I choose warehouse do I have a growth. And If I changed later do I have any use of experience from warehouse to get a job in an office .
@supplychainsecrets3 жыл бұрын
I think growth potential is more about the company you work for, than the actual job function. So pick the company first and job function second.

Amazing video Mr. Rob. I am from India and an MBA student studying Logistics Management in Germany and currently in my final semester. I have already finished one internship which lasted for 6 months in East Germany and will be moving to the West for my second internship. I found myself thriving when I was expected to offer a creative and an innovative approach to a certain set of problems and mundane monotonous work has always put me off. How should I approach to maximize most of the opportunities in my second tenure as an intern?
@sagniksahu44693 жыл бұрын
Hello Rob, I hope you are doing well! I was going through your videos and got your videos to be very helpful. I do understand to look forward to an SCM career we need to take a step towards a field job related to SCM. But due to the pandemic, it is uncertain for me now. To give my background, I am working in TCS(Tata consultancy services) as IT Analyst for the last 5 years and worked for client dealing in shipping and manufacturing(Maersk Line and ADMC). Now, I have a good GMAT score and aspire to do an MBA. Before MBA I want to do certification in SCM and I am confused between certification from ASCM(APICS) for CSCP or any university like Michigan University(Global Master Certificate in Integrated Supply Chain Management). Doing certification from CSCP will definitely give me a good edge over others but the one thing that pinches me is the validity of the certificate is only 5 years and I will also have to go through an exam. Seeing all pros and cons what would be a better certification in respect to learning, future recognition in Industry all over the world and cost-effective?. Your valuable input will help me decide to take the course. Kindly suggest.

Is scm well pay?
@supplychainsecrets3 жыл бұрын
Depends what you call pay well? The average salary in Australia looks like it is $60,000. A starting salary for a SC graduate would be higher than that. For middle and senior SC managers, in a large organisation, $300k + is not uncommon. But it's all relative. Depends on the country and cost of living.

@@supplychainsecrets ok sir, Mba/ PGDM which one is best in SC?
@supplychainsecrets3 жыл бұрын
@@whalegamingyt5972 That's an impossible question without knowing you, the country where you work, your plans. But an MBA will usually be better than PGDM.
