@figment198811 ай бұрын
@bobbackward6461 as for the Ghostbusters cabinet with the steering yoke at the end of the scene, this was actually a game Data East USA produced called Bandit which was originally meant to be released in 1989, but was scrapped for unknown reasons. As for the game, you play as the titular character who escapes from a prison in California and engages in a high speed cross country chase in which he must cross the border of a state before time runs out. If Bandit doesn't make it, he will be captured by police which leads to a continuation screen where he is strapped to an electric chair and if a credit isn't inserted to continue (a.k.a. bribing the guard as the game calls it), he is executed with a stern message on the screen which says ''CRIME DOESN'T PAY". Recently, Bandit was dumped to MAME, but it is still a work in progress as the analog controls are being worked on. But, as of January 1st of this year, the only playable cabinet can be found at Galloping Ghost Arcade in Brookfield, Illinois.

Also, the cabinet with the Real Ghostbusters marquee with the steering wheel is Bandit which was never released. As for it's gameplay, you assumed the role of a convicted criminal who is trying to escape the cops in a cross country chase with an overhead perspective similar to Bally/Midway's Spy Hunter. There's actually a video of the game which also features a harsh continue screen with you in the electric chair and if you let the timer run out, you'll be fried and there will be a message that says ''Crime doesn't pay". As for the game, the only cabinet which has a playable version exists at Galloping Ghost Arcade in Illinois

Yeah, he should've been fired by SGT. Reed right about now after Murphy beat the daylights outta Duffy, although it's against his protocol not to assault a fellow Police officer, but he does have a good point. Duffy is as he said he was, a rotten cop who sold them out.

I don't sympathize with Duffy's decision to sell out cop positions, but I did feel ultra sad when he tried to fight the urge for Nuke, only to nearly break into tears and snatch it up. Guy didn't deserve the death he got. He was better off letting Murphy bash his face into the arcade machine.

That little kid strangling a female cop. With that cheesy metal music. This is the 1st thing I remember when recalling all of the RoboCop movies. We still have main stream fictional violence depicted on media today. But back in the day it was darker and more shocking than modern attempts. Rob Zombie and some others excluded.

Hob is one of the best characters in Robocop. At the time of this films release it was very controversial. With many critics and audiences condemning it. Being shocked & mortified. But this is the reality of gang violence and the underworld. Even in war! Believe it or not, but many members that are recruited into this life are just mere children. That have become brainwashed into criminals & ruthless killers. An some children are just born evil & psychotic. Prime examples Henry Hill in Goodfellas, Lil Dice & Benny in City of God, Smiley in Sin Nombre, Ciro Di Marzio in Immortale. Just cuz you dont want to hear or believe something doesnt mean its not true.
