I had heard good reviews of it but was kind of skeptical so I finally picked it up on a sale last month. Holy crap did it hooked me from start to finish, which is hard for a game to do these days because I have so little time to play. It takes a special one to grip me like that. It is one of those special games that when I finished it the first thing I wanted to do was pick it back up and replay it. There are some flaws, I feel like the mechanic of picking up and throwing enemies doesn't quite work cuz you often clip them through walls and ceilings when they're thrown. There's constantly these weird screen jaggies every time the camera cuts to a new position when you're talking to people. And just some other minor quirks. But the game is so lovingly crafted between the writing, the art design, and the soundtrack that you can't help but feel immersed in this world. You never for a minute think about how you're playing a video game

The game is overall awesome, but I do have gripes about it. The cut scenes and character models are horrendous, and the side missions in between the main missions are pathetic. But, the scenery is absolutely B.E.A.Utiful. Its bulky and clunky, just like Robo himself. I love the game and all its flaws. We need more IP games just like this, no need for a AAA studio behind it, and it doesnt need to be a huge elaborate open world. A simple, story driven, single path game was a perfect choice.

Honestly I love Robocop 1 and 2, but thought this game was dogshit. Robocop taking damage from small arms, the tank controls, I didn't make it through the first level before dropping it. Don't get me wrong, the presentation was great, it definitely visually felt like Robocop but playing it was a drag.
