Naturally - that remark is an old story for decades now most EVERYTHING from US/CANADIAN movies, TV sereis and Computer Games comes nowdays from Canada. It is rather interesting to see WHAT SERIES was NOT done in Toronto or Vancouver for this matter like GRIMM, really done in PORTLAND ! or the STREETS OF SAN FRANCISCO really done in an extra studio in SAN FRANCISCO taht is so since the late Eighties. One of the earlier Series done this way was th HIGHLANDER TV show This is a nice jucy thing for the Canadians for a solid chunk of tax benefits companies doing those projects have to do most of the job in Canad itself and have to higher over 50& of their workforce and actors in Canada itself, those have to bei either long standing residents ( hence so many British or Commenwealth related actors like the Australians ) or real Canadian Nationals nowdays
