How many cycles did it actually take to clean this mess completely? Thanks for the impressive demonstration that these kind of mopping systems actually are not made for this. A roller mop like in Eufy S1 Pro or Switchbot S10 would have been able to get it removed because it puts the gunk into a wastewater bin.

@SpeedFlap It took around 4 cycles but still couldn't do it. I got tired and just cleaned with microfiber. Yea, I guess it wasn't meant for heavy duty. But light duty it cleans like a champ. Thanks for watching.

Quick update. I returned this qrevo master and switched to s8 Maxv ultra. So glad i did. S8 is so much better.

It is time for me to upgrade my Roborock S6 Pure, and I wanted to get a vacuum that could also do mopping, as well as auto emptying. Both of these are now similarly priced when on sale for around $1000. To me the biggest difference, I see between these two are the mopping systems, Q Revo uses a spinning mop, which I heard is better for even surfaces like hardwood floor, (which is what I have) and S8 uses the sonic vibrating mop, which is better for uneven floors like tile. Intuitively it just also seems like a spinning mop would do a better job but from online reviews I have seen it seems both so the job ok. It appears the Q Revo Master has some features advantages but I have heard mixed things about its build quality and performance since technically the s8 is the flagship line and I was debating if I should lean towards that instead, since I saw your review and heard you returned your Q Revo Master and got the s8 Ultra instead. Q Revo Master advantage 10000Pa suction vs 8000 Rocky voice Control Dock is self cleaning and less moving parts Video calling and monitoring Downsides: 10mm mop lift vs 20mm on s8 Build quality cheaper than s8? S8 Max Ultra Advantage Automatic detergent dispenser Maybe better build quality/performance? 20mm mop lift Downsides: Messier dock to clean because of moving parts No Rocky voice Control No video camera feature I know s8v Ultra has voice control and video chat to make it more apples to apples feature wise but it’s not on sale yet so I am comparing mainly based on my budget, since I can get Q Revo Master or S8 Max Ultra for around $1000 Would appreciate any thoughts you have

@UKingdom Hey bro. It's a tough choice. For me it was worth the upgrade. The specs on the s8 maxV ultra is good and with the 5 year warranty it will be future proof. I could of made it work with the qrevo master but always had my eye on the s8 maxv. I am coming from the s7 maxv so i love that line up. The vacuum on the qrevo really turned me off. I know it's fairly new and with a few firmware it will only get better. If you can hold out a few more months i m sure the s8 maxV will on sale. But if you dont mind the quality difference and vacuum performance go the qrevo master. But i m a little confused with the ridiculous price difference when on sale. I mean it just came out and already on sale from 1699 to 1099 to 999. Sounds fishy lol. The s8 maxv held its price since launch. But yea in conclusion you should get whatever fits your budget. But i just realized you talking between s8 max ultra. No camera is a bummer for me and they drastically reduced the performance on the vacuum to keep the s8 maxv ultra flagship. I love viewing my home and i get some folks have security concern. But in todays world what is safe lol. Goodluck on your decision. Its gonna be tough but i would get qrevo if between s8 max ultra. You just get a bit more. Oh yea one more thing, i would check out the new samsung bespoke jet bot. It got some good reviews in vacuum wars. It has steam cleaning, first of its kind i believe.

How good is the Hey Rocky voice control? Can u decide to mop an area via voice command ? Or make it just vacuum?

@grahammadden7271 Hey brother. Yes of course. But you will have to divide the floor plan and name it using the map editor. Then you can just tell rocky to clean that area only. Really handy. Especially for the kitchen. Thanks.

The nicest part of that robot is the sliver lid cover on the base station. Everything else looks like cheap plastic

@brunadelira502 start cleaning, start vac & mop, pause, skip here, start mapping, go back to dock, empty the dustbin. Wash the mop, dry the mop, increase mop and vacuum intensity. And some few more. Thanks.
