The Roborock Q5+ is (perhaps) the best value-for-money auto-empty robot vacuum offered by Roborock.
It doesn't have the premium features like pad washing or mop vibrating, but it retains the same efficiency and cleaning performance at the same price point as the Roomba I6+.
If you don't mind these omissions and want the autonomy of a self-emptying robot vacuum without paying a hefty premium, this is a good alternative to the more expensive S7 series.

One of the best test videos for vacuum cleaners I have seen. Thank you. Maybe I missed it in the video, but does the Q5 have boost airflow on carpets, Alexa Voice control and different airflow and time cleaning settings for different rooms?

Good review as always. Considering your theory about new brush impeding the airflow wasn't right, I think you should've tested Q5 edge cleaning performance and compare them with S7/S7MaxV and see how it goes. I say this because I recall older videos featuring Roborock vs Ecovacs and the latter were amazing on edge performance thanks to the incredible airflow. Suction numbers are a scam basically.

Thanks for chiming in Dave. Yes, I did test the Q5 with edge-cleaning and the performance was similar to the S7 MaxV. I'll add that to the future comparison video. Yes, the Ecovacs T8 if I recall correctly was better since it had two side brushes and better airflow.

Good review. I am testing the Q7 Max now. The furniture feature actually does have a function. If you click on zone cleaning and then clean on furniture like a couch or table it will clean around it. This is pretty helpful after dinner at the table for instance.

@@CordlessVacuumGuide hehe, actually came across a video finally with the extraction in action. It does have a vortex action like Jamie mentioned in the s7 video when he found out that the vacuum motor was switched on during extraction

Q5+ or the Dreame Bot Z10 Pro? If all i care about is Vacuum Performance. I do NOT care about Mopping. I will not use it. Both are similar in prices, and I actually found a Q5+ for $420 Brand new Ebay. Z10 is $480 on Amazon right now. Which would you prefer at those prices ??

Good afternoon friend. Can the airflow be changed in a firmware update? It's very strange that they reduce the airflow in a top-of-the-line robot compared to the Q5. Disheartening!
