Very nice design It would be interesting to see if the elevator was angled slightly forward to help with the L4. Instead of messing with the end defector, this would mean you would still be able to do all levels.

Are the brackets with wheels between each section of the elevator that make it glide smoothy custom, or are they able to be purchased somewhere?
@Banjiilo20 сағат бұрын
you can purchase them on west coast products

Cory from Cranberry Alarm here! The elevator kit that we used is from TheThriftyBot. They sell a kit with the bearing blocks to roll smoothly, as well as the brackets/pulleys/chain to drive it!

Cory from Cranberry Alarm here! The angle of the coral ramp on the robot was 14.5 degrees. The angle of the coral scorer was 12.5 degrees.

What competition are you going to do and where?
@FUNRoboticsNetwork13 сағат бұрын
This is a robot in 3 days quick build and not meant for any official competition. There is a robot in 3 days/kitbot unofficial competition at Kettering University Feb 1.

If you push the algea strong enough could it be thrown on the throft
@corysnyder55073 сағат бұрын
Cory from Cranberry Alarm here! We honestly didn't look into this at all, but the answer is almost certainly no. The top lip of the net is 6'4" while the top of our elevator end effector only lifts to 6'3" and the algae sits lower down on the end effector. There is maybe some chance that we could flip the algae up, but it probably wouldn't be consistent or worth the time.

@corysnyder5507 sorry for my wording what I meant is launching it using the rollers, so no need to be it higher that the net. Using the wheels as like the ropes on a sling shot
