I thought you'd show how loud the self emptying bin vacuum is on the i7 is, misleading but also for anyone wondering it sounds like an airplane trying to take off at 2 in the morning lol

"Surprisingly", the bin vacuum sounds like... a vacuum. Also, it runs for about 15 seconds.

Regaudless of mode, the i7 is noisey on quietmode, not vaccuuming at all, and in regular cleaning mode.

Decibels isn't the best measure between these. It is more about the frequency. The roborock is a low/deep rumble. But the Roomba is a high pitch whine, with the spinning brush making a LOT of whirring noise. I find these sounds grating and after 7 months. I think I need to ditch the i7. I have only hardwood floors and I barely run it because I can't stand the noise. And I feel guilty if I run it when I'm not home because them my cat has to listen to that bullshit on his own. I had a eufy robovac before and it was probably the same DB ... But it was less grating to listen to. Oh. And DB is a logarithmic scale. So 5-10 DB is actually a BIG difference

This is what I've wanted to know- cheers! Figured IQ would win.

Nice dB check, I didn't realize the Apple Watch could be used as a sound meter 🤯. Now have you gotten the shark to create a map??? I am at 18 cleaning runs and nothing yet 😫😫😫

Robot Masters thanks. New update had it. No not yet. I’m annoyed by this lol. I’m tired of it running around and hearing it all day.

You can’t change vacuum power on an i7. i7 is based on a mechanical cleaning rather than vacuuming. It as less than 7 cfm and no air exhaust like robot with higher cfm like your Roborock S5 and Shark IQ. That’s why I prefer robots with higher cfm clean better especially on harder surface.

I like the roborock might buy one but might be more in Australia

If you wanna try this with the Roomba but suction alone, you can just try holding home and clean and then click spot 6 times then when you see the lights going weird click spot like 18 times and then see how loud the suction alone is.

couple of decibels just FYI is 100x louder. Decibel scale isn't a linear scale.

Definitely picking one with the quietest sound. Im not doing permanent damage on my ears so I can have a clean floor..
@Friendoo2 жыл бұрын
The loudest averaged a 69db. Your ears get permanent damage when you are near 75 db for a certain amount of time. If you choose the shark I congratulate you for not protecting your ears from anything and getting the worst vacuum tested in this video ! You are a happy owner of trash !

I bought the i8 and shark IQ and found the roomba to be unbearable. Shark runs in the background in normal setting and doesn't bother me. Even on high mode its better than i8. Roomba seems more nicely built and manoeuvres better than shark.
