For me, this is easily Behemoth's most embarrassing and unfortunate loss. It's had tight Judges' decisions, the link coming out, choosing the wrong weapon, floor dildo etc.... But I don't think anyone else has ever lost to a self-righting robot before. Mute defeated Behemoth because it was recovering and just attacked it by accident, that's hilarious.

Knowing there were a few spare kilos inside UFO's weight limit to make such modifications, did it ever occur to the team members to add on a pair of side spikes/pegs near UFO's wheel arches? That way the robot can prevent itself from getting stranded, and land either on its wheels or flipper side to self-right if overturned.

Watching this, surely this was Behemoth's unluckiest and most annoying defeat as I think if that incident hadn't happened they would have easily made the semi finals (and probably given Firestorm a great battle too). Thankfully they went on to achieve better success in the more recent series Plus that version of Corkscrew surely has to be the worst redesign of a robot ever on Robot Wars, the Series 6 version could be lethal and had huge potential but this one would have done badly in Series 3

@@cr10001 I remember seeing an American walker that was about as fast as a wheeled bot, but it had a ramming spear. If it had had an active weapon like a spinner, it could've been a great offensive and defensive robot with its extra weight.
@cr100012 жыл бұрын
@@PelemusMcSoy Agreed. A walker would really need a kinetic weapon like a spinner or possibly an axe, and it could carry quite a heavy one. Ansgar makes sense. A flipper or a rambot really needs high speed (or high acceleration) and manouvrability to be effective and I doubt a walker could ever be that quick.
@PelemusMcSoy2 жыл бұрын
@@cr10001 Ah, here we go. I'm thinking of Drillzilla.
