Great intro into trimsheets! Normally I only see tutorials for just walls/floors so its great to see it used on assets as well :)

Thanks man! It seemed like a more interesting and rounded tutorial for those that wanted a full process, I love short how-to vids but sometimes it's nice to have a project tutorial.

are trimsheets and atlas textures the same thing

Trimsheets - Efficient way of texturing multiple assets of a scene with one trimsheet by allocating sections of the UV space to seamlessly tile in one direction. Atlas textures - Very specific or unique UVs for hero assets - its unlikely you can reuse this texture on other assets Worth noting though, you CAN squeeze in an atlas texture on your trimsheet ('hybrid trimsheet'), but that allocated space on the UV won't be able to tile seamlessly. For example on the Vending Machine, the decals on the bottom right of the texture sheet would be UV'd like atlas textures and wouldn't be able to tile unnoticeably.
