She-Hulk: Attorney at Law did a wonderful job of showing the world how much of a bubble these weird, scared, Hollywood writers live in. It also showed that anyone can call themselves a writer. A show that finished on a crazy wild ride that needs some explaining. I’ll do my best.
Good luck MCU. You need it.

I agree with you, but I feel like that type of thing happens in every movie or tv show where the protagonist beats up or kills some guards or security or whatever who are just doing their jobs. I mean in the first Matrix movie, Neo and Trinity beat up or kill like 20-30 security guards in the lobby scene. Those guys weren't agents or bad guys, they were just normal people working their job. It just feels a little biased to call out She-Hulk for it but let every thing else have a pass for doing the exact same thing.

They took two years, millions of dollars (which still wasn't enough for their greed and inefficiency), legacy characters that they didn't make, deep lore that they didn't even read, somewhat decent actors, back-breaking labor from VFX artists (all to get them to redo work that the writers and producers initially defended) and, of course, monthly subscription fees from about a million or so people mostly during a pandemic all to intentionally make a bad show for the purposes of "trolling the trolls" that they knew were waiting for them... which is the hallmark of insecurity. In a way I wish the show would get a second season. Everything that the writers thought was a huge win for them in reality would just turn to shit ten minutes later. Think about it: She-Hulk is going to take the trolls to court, but is no longer with GLK&H. The head troll retains GLK&H. That means episode 1 of season 2 would be Mallory Book fighting Jen in court as Jen represents herself. The writers were smart enough to realize you never go pro se...until they forgot and ended the show with Jen doing exactly that. And then her best friend has to choose between her career or Jen. There's also the fact that the show tried to have its cake and eat it too by complaining about MCU properties and their last minute reveals, but then shoved Hulk's son in there. Congratulations team: you got to say what you wanted and then be forced back into your lane. I can't wait for this era of "If you don't agree with us you are a racist, sexist, homophobic bigot" to end.

The fans helped create something unique with the MCU, where every movie was a hit that got bigger and bigger. Fans that span back to the comics, which helped keep Marvel alive even during bankruptcy. Our thanks after all these decades? Disney+ She-Hulk's big F-U to us like She-Hulk marks the end of the MCU. Not just the show itself, but the fact that it was allowed to be made in the first place makes it clear that yes, Disney really does hate their customers.

The Archer edits is a nice touch to avoid the classic *all fun and games until animated character crosses arms* lol Also Deadpool is genius. I never even thought about it because the two are so SO far apart in my mind. On paper, Deadpool is an action comedy, more adult themed comedy but no sexism, racism, homophobia or bigotry of any kind. It's so wildly and vastly opposite from most of the new stuff now because it's good. Not because it used any of those for laughs or did anything new or special. It was just good.

I've discovered a new term recently: FAN-BAITING. It's basically a new technique (methinks originating with Rian Johnson & KK tbh) where productions that know they're putting out crap make big shows of their diversity casting early in order to bait out the naturally angry racist segments of fandom to scream & shout. THEN they use that to paint ALL criticism with the same brush. I'm absolutely convinced D*sney knew they had a steaming pile of shit in Kenobi and purposely cast Moses as Reva. I can't imagine how she gets through a quality casting process with the acting ability she displayed on the show. Power to her as a working actress, but they really hung her out to dry and it WORKED.
