Those 3 are the best and cute robots ever made in science fiction film history. The droll walking style (like a duck) alone has the most life effect you can ever imagine.

The budget for everything, filming, actors, workers, special effect, putting the film out in the real world was only 1 mil or so the internet says. Great looking film and a joy to watch.

Consider a nova, and label it "warm". Regard Uncle Scrooge McDuck and term him "well-off". Then, look upon these... and call them "good". 😲 "If I could not be Alexander, I would be Diogenes," the conqueror supposedly said of the humble philosopher. 🤔 If I could not be me, sir, I would seriously consider being you. 😁 Keep on going!

The three drones were played by four bilateral amputees,[2] an idea inspired by Johnny Eck, a sideshow performer of the early 20th century who was born without lower limbs.[3] The 20-pound (9.1 kg) drone suits were custom-tailored for the actors. The suits are in Trumbull's personal collection.
