Robotic surgery performed in Cape Town hospital

An advanced new medical robot, is set to change South African medical and surgical procedures. The Da Vinci X1 Robot was used in a procedure to treat colorectal cancer patients at Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town. This is the first time a robot was used for surgery in a South African public hospital. eNCA Ayesha Ismail joins us from Cape Town for more. #DStv403
