@@SITENG SOKKIA ix 1003 with Carlson SurvCE. I'm getting very good closures in closed traverses. Fast rotation and quicker when observing with both faces. Prism lock looses when the prism close to iX. I've seen complains about hardware failure but mine is working fine. Reacquisition is easy with RC-PR4A. I'm still struggling with line strings & coding. I am interested in a TS16. Would you recommend TS16I (Imaging TS) ? Do you think imaging option is useful? I'm currently doing cadastral work but will be doing construction setouts & topographic surveys in future.

There is knowledge in online courses and they’re definitely useful, bit of course the best is to touch the instrument and use it yourself

I would use a USB - copy the job and upload to the controller.

downloaded it throgch SCCS page, you need to look on-line, my friend found it somhere, but I can't remember now what the page was - try Leica simulator

Yo man, TS16 got reseted abd everything went to default....so all the strings aand their attribute i use to do pickups in underground tunnels ...is now having only one string for istbace Str1 with red colour no matter tye string number i choose to measure. Can you be a help

First you need to make sure you can legally work here in UK (some kind of visa) and then I would recommend looking for a assistant position

Hi, love your videos. I’ve recently purchased a TS15, when I level the instrument to 0.0006 and 0.0008 for example, I then turn the instrument to make sure it’s totally level at 360 degrees, it comes back with something like 0.0052 and 0.0023 for example. I’ve even put a boat level on the tripod, to try and counter this. Have you got any advice, on how to stop this occurring?

While it still shows you the 'green' bubble the compensator works and there is nothing to worry. Never you will get it perfect and if you want to get as much as you can get you should try to 'divide' numbers now (make it eg.20 10 both sides) - half of the 'off' position
