They never died instead they went to a farm, aquarium, aviary (depending on the pet). For kids who had small critters like hamsters, goldfish or budgies, this was only after the parents had scrambled to find an identical replacement.....yes, it was tough even with goldfish, kids know their pets REALLY well. LOL!

I have a blind deaf dog. The other dogs try to fight with her but quickly learn she has the disabilities. After that they do not bully her. Her mother also knew she was special. Her siblings would compensate and go by her and touch her encouraging her to follow or play.
